Job Description

Join WSP as a Site Mechanical Engineer in Toronto and lead complex infrastructure projects. Engage in hands-on site engineering to ensure optimal performance of mechanical systems.

As a pivotal member of WSP’s Mechanical & Electrical Team, your role focuses on delivering high-quality mechanical design services for transportation buildings. You will work closely with contractors to oversee installations and guide junior engineers, reinforcing technical excellence in the field.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee mechanical design and execution on-site
  • Act as the mechanical representative during building projects
  • Guide the implementation of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
  • Conduct site reviews to ensure compliance with designs
  • Respond to RFIs, change requests, and design questions

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • P.Eng. certification with PEO necessary
  • 7–10 years in mechanical system design
  • Familiar with construction and field engineering processes
  • Experience with mechanical design software tools
