About the role

Original posting from HousingAnywhere Group via Greenhouse

We’re on a mission to become the go-to destination for students across Europe to find a trusted home away from home. We make every step of the rental journey simple and seamless, so students can focus on what really matters: studying, exploring, and growing.

With HousingAnywhere, Kamernet, and Studapart under our roof, we’re Europe’s largest student rental platform. You’ll find us in Rotterdam, Paris, and Cergy, always guided by our four core values: Ownership, We are enablers, We are changemakers, and We are connectors.

Your role

As an Account Manager for the Spanish market, you will take full ownership of managing and nurturing a portfolio of landlords (advertisers) in Spain. Your primary focus is to build strong relationships, maximise value, and help them succeed on our platform.

You will manage a diverse portfolio of landlords, ranging from SMEs to large property management companies. These advertisers provide quality accommodations for thousands of students finding their next home in Spain.

Key responsibilities:

Portfolio Management: Maintain and develop strong relationships with your portfolio of advertisers to deliver maximum value and a great customer experience.

Onboarding: Onboard and educate advertisers on our products and services to accelerate success.

Business Reviews: Plan and execute business review meetings with the advertisers to boost customer success and retention.

Data-Driven Optimization: Analyse your portfolio performance to identify bottlenecks/opportunities, and translate them into action points.

Multi-Channel Engagement: Engage with customers effectively via phone, online meetings, email, and occasional in-person visits.

Customer Feedback: Collect and deliver customer feedback with a data-driven, value-focused approach.

Listing Optimization: Ensure advertisements are formatted correctly and inventory is optimised.

Account Growth & Upselling: Grow your portfolio of advertisers by increasing the number of listings and upselling services.

Industry Expertise: Stay up to date on rental market-related best practices to act as a trusted advisor.

Continuous Development: Train and develop yourself to increase sales performance and overall impact.

The team

You will join our Commercial department, the driving force behind landlord performance across our core European markets (Spain, Italy, France, DACH, and the Netherlands). As a member of the Spanish team, you will collaborate closely with driven peers to cement our position as the student rental platform leader in Spain.

Your profile

Experience: 3 years of account management or sales experience (BDR, AE, etc.) within a marketplace, SaaS company, or ideally real estate.

Languages: Native-level Spanish speaker and fluent in English.

Commercial Acumen: Skilled at identifying commercial opportunities, expanding client accounts, and building lasting partnerships.

Adaptability: Able to tailor your communication style depending on the client profile and situation.

Results-Driven: Highly motivated by hitting targets, managing KPIs, and driving measurable revenue impact.

Positive Energy: Energetic, optimistic, and eager to motivate and collaborate with your teammates.

Resilience & Problem-Solving: Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a natural ability to overcome challenges.
