ABOUT THE ROLE
Retell AI transforms customer experience with voice AI for enterprises, including customers like CVS/Aetna, American Airlines, Lenovo, and Grab. We have more customer stories than we can tell!
We're adding contract accountants to our finance team as revenue grows from $5M to $80M ARR. You'll work alongside our billing lead and help keep the books, collections, and vendor payments accurate and on schedule. This is a remote contract role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
This hire owns day-to-day accounting execution: monthly close, AR, AP, and billing-related tickets.
Support the monthly close: reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.
Work AR: invoice follow-up, cash application, and aging.
Work AP: vendor bills, approvals, and payment runs.
Resolve billing-related tickets from customers and internal teams.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Must have:
2+ years of accounting experience covering month-end closes, AR, and AP.
Experience at a SaaS or other high-growth company.
Hands-on with accounting and billing tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Stripe, Bill.com)
Comfortable working remotely and independently.
Nice to have:
CPA or CPA candidate.
Experience with usage-based billing.
