​​We are looking for a motivated Actuarial Analyst to help expand the scope and speed of our actuarial pricing capabilities. In this high visibility and high impact role, you will make data-driven recommendations to guide the pricing of our insurance product suite and drive profitable growth of the company.  What You’ll Do:

Build and maintain rate indication tool for insurance pricing and actuarial reporting

Assist in the creation of state filing materials

Create and refine frameworks and dashboards to monitor, analyze, and report on historical performance

Conduct analyses, generate insights, and translate them to strategic or tactical recommendations

Collaborate with NEXT’s insurance product management and filings teams take pricing action and drive profitable growth

Be an integral part of the actuarial community, and promulgate best practices

Dedication to the Casualty Actuarial Societies’ accreditation exam process with a goal of obtaining your ACAS and FCAS

 What We Need:

BA/BS in actuarial science, statistics, or a quantitative discipline

1+ years of experience in actuarial roles/internship, or completion of a minimum of two CAS examinations (excluding UEC credit)

Technical proficiency in MS Office (primarily Excel) and SQL

Experience with AI tools and processes

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to navigate ambiguous or strategic business challenges

Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently

Unstoppable Qualities:

Familiarity with R or Python is a plus

Background in Small Business insurance or General Liability insurance

 The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire base salaries for the position in the location(s) listed. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including, without limitation, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. ERGO NEXT employees are also potentially eligible for our annual performance-based incentive program, in addition to our benefits package, consisting of our partially subsidized medical plan, fully subsidized vision/dental options, life insurance, disability insurance, 401(k), flexible paid time off, parental leave and more.

US annual base salary range for this full-time position: $75,000—$107,000 USD
