    — “Help clients choose the right approach and understand the trade-offs”
  • Professionals skilled in both data engineering and full-stack development with Python and SQL
    — “Build with Python, SQL, Snowpark, and Streamlit, and integrate with external APIs”

Things to consider

  • Requires a clear plan to quickly ramp up on Snowflake Cortex capabilities if not already experienced
    — “working knowledge of Snowflake Cortex capabilities, or comparable hands-on experience with LLM-based applications and a clear plan to ramp quickly”
  • Candidates must be comfortable with unstructured data processing and semantic modeling
    — “Shape the pipelines, semantic models, and unstructured data processing (including Document AI)”

How to stand out

  • Highlight experience with RAG, semantic search, and agentic patterns in your resume and interviews
    — “Familiarity with RAG, semantic search, text-to-SQL, and agentic patterns”
  • Demonstrate your ability to deliver end-to-end AI solutions with a focus on security and governance
    — “Design for scale and security: Apply role-based access control, data masking, and governance”

About the role

About Nimble Gravity:

We’re a data, AI and digital engineering consultancy. Certified across Microsoft, Anthropic, and Databricks, we turn AI ambition into working systems for leaders who need results, not roadmaps.

You'll design and deliver AI applications that run directly on our clients' Snowflake data, using Snowflake Cortex. We're looking for an AI and data architect who knows that a good model is only as useful as the data and governance behind it. You'll design, build, and optimize Cortex-powered applications, from first architecture sketch to production. You'll work with clients and engineers to turn abstract ideas into systems people use.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and build: Design and implement AI applications on Snowflake using Cortex AI functions, Cortex Analyst, Cortex Search, Cortex Agents, and Snowflake Intelligence.

Build the data foundation: Shape the pipelines, semantic models, and unstructured data processing (including Document AI) that make AI answers trustworthy.

Develop full-stack: Build with Python, SQL, Snowpark, and Streamlit, and integrate with external APIs, applications, and LLM providers where the use case calls for it.

Design for scale and security: Apply role-based access control, data masking, and governance so applications are secure, resilient, and compliant from day one.

Manage cost and performance: Tune warehouses, models, and queries, and make consumption-based costs predictable for clients.

Lead client conversations: Run architecture sessions, demos, and workshops. Help clients choose the right approach and understand the trade-offs.

Collaborate: Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and app developers to deliver end-to-end outcomes.

Keep learning: Track Snowflake's fast-moving AI roadmap and turn new capabilities into reusable patterns for the team.

What We're Looking For

Required

Proven experience as a data or AI architect or senior engineer, including hands-on work on Snowflake.

Strong SQL and Python skills, with experience in Snowpark.

Working knowledge of Snowflake Cortex capabilities, or comparable hands-on experience with LLM-based applications and a clear plan to ramp quickly.

Familiarity with RAG, semantic search, text-to-SQL, and agentic patterns.

Solid grasp of data modeling, ELT/ETL, and orchestration (dbt, Airflow, or similar).

Strong understanding of Snowflake security and governance: RBAC, masking, row access policies, and data sharing.

Experience with CI/CD, APIs, and cloud fundamentals on Azure, AWS, or GCP.

Preferred

SnowPro Core or Advanced certification.

Experience with Streamlit, Snowflake Native Apps, or Cortex Fine-tuning.

Background in data science, machine learning, or formal engineering training.

Experience integrating Snowflake with other AI platforms, including Claude.

Consulting or client-facing delivery experience.

Core Qualities

Problem-solving excellence: You approach hard technical challenges with creativity and rigor.

Ownership and accountability: You take responsibility for design, delivery, and success.

Adaptability: You're comfortable learning and shipping new technology in a fast-moving field.

Collaboration: You communicate clearly and work well in a team.
