WHOOP is hiring an Analyst II to join the Commercial Analytics team, with a primary focus on supporting our growing omni-channel business. In this role, you will own reporting and analysis that help explain performance across retail partners, products, and markets, partnering directly with commercial stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth and inform decision-making. You will also contribute to cross-functional analyses spanning Wholesale, Digital Commerce, and Marketing, connecting channel-level insights to the broader commercial picture.

This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own recurring reporting and analysis of wholesale performance across partners, products, and regions, including the metric definitions that support consistent and trusted decision-making.
  • Analyze retailer and partner performance, including sell-through trends, inventory position, pricing, and promotions, proactively surfacing trends, risks, and growth opportunities to commercial stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain the datasets and data models that power wholesale reporting, validating data against source systems and resolving discrepancies to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Lead analyses end to end, from framing business questions with stakeholders and identifying the right analytical approach to translating findings into clear recommendations.
  • Contribute to cross-functional analyses spanning Wholesale, Digital Commerce, and Marketing, bringing the wholesale perspective and connecting channel performance to broader commercial trends.
  • Build and improve dashboards and automated reporting that reduce manual analysis, increase visibility into business performance, and enable stakeholders to access recurring insights independently.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Business, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in business analytics or a similar analytical role; experience with retail, wholesale, e-commerce, consumer products, or related commercial data is a plus.
  • Strong SQL skills, including experience working with large transactional datasets and translating business questions into rigorous analyses and actionable insights.
  • Experience building and maintaining dashboards and reporting using business intelligence tools such as Sigma or similar platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to distill complex data into clear, actionable insights and communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-starting and collaborative approach, with the ability to independently drive analytical work in a fast-moving environment.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, reliable, and trusted analysis.
  • Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions.
