We are seeking a highly analytical, organized, and commercially minded Business Control & Administration Manager to lead financial governance, business planning, local administration, and operational support activities for Lucid France. This role is responsible for ensuring robust financial control, performance management, business reporting and administrative governance, to enable the successful operation of the French market.

As part of Lucid’s Hybrid National Sales Company (NSC) model, the Business Control & Administration Manager acts as both the financial steward and administrative lead for the French market. The role provides financial governance, operational control, local entity administration, and business support to Lucid France, Lucid Europe, and HQ stakeholders. The position serves as a key business partner to the Managing Director and operational leaders, enabling effective market management, disciplined financial control, regulatory compliance, and efficient operation of the French entity.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & P&L Management

Own financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and P&L performance for Lucid France, by ensuring alignment with commercial objectives, operational plans, and European financial targets

Monitor financial performance, operating expenses, and investments against approved budgets, and identify risks and opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency, and return on investment

Provide strategic financial guidance by focusing on cost control and budget governance processes, and driving financial accountability across the French organisation

Reporting & Business Insights

Prepare regular financial and operational performance reports for Lucid France and European leadership

Analyze performance across Sales, Aftersales, Order Operations, Customer Experience, and Network Development activities

Provide transparency into business performance, investment utilization, and operational risks

Support monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews

Deliver recommendations based on financial and operational analysis

Governance, Risk & Compliance

Ensure compliance with Lucid policies, governance frameworks, internal controls, and corporate obligations across the French market

Maintain transparency, accountability, and audit readiness through effective oversight of budgeting, procurement, expenditure, and reporting activities

Assess and mitigate risks through robust governance and risk management practices

Investment Planning & Strategic Decision Support

Evaluate investment opportunities, market initiatives, and commercial support mechanisms through financial modelling, business case analysis, and strategic recommendations.

Monitor investment performance, capital allocation, and spending effectiveness to ensure delivery of expected returns and optimise resource prioritisation.

Support launch planning, network expansion, market development initiatives, and executive decision-making through financial analysis and preparation of board and leadership materials.

Commercial Finance Support

Partner with Sales, Aftersales, Order Operations, and Network Development teams tosupport commercial planning, forecasting, and business performance management across the French market

Analyse revenue, costs, profitability, and key business drivers to provide financial guidance and support strategic decision-making

Systems, Controls & Data Integrity

Ensure accurate financial reporting, data integrity, and compliance with financial controls and data governance requirements across market operations.

Support the implementation, optimisation, and automation of financial processes, reporting systems, dashboards, and management reporting tools.

Partner with Finance, IT, and operational stakeholders to improve reporting efficiency, evaluate market support programmes, and assess the financial impact of operational and contractual decisions.

Administrative Operations & Office Management

Lead business administration for Lucid France, ensuring compliance with local governance, statutory, and corporate requirements.

Oversee office operations, vendor and procurement administration, contract and invoice management, and maintenance of local procedures and records to support efficient market operations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field

Experience in business control, FP&A, commercial finance, accounting, business administration, or related functions

Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cost control

Experience supporting market operations within automotive, retail, distribution, manufacturing, or related industries

Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities

Experience working with ERP systems, reporting platforms and business applications

Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills

Strong organizational and administrative management capabilities

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, matrixed environment

Fluent in French and English

Hourly/non-exempt employees accrue up to 120 hours paid time off, and salaried/exempt employee accrue up to 160 hours paid time off.  Eligible employees may also participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual cash incentive program. Incentive and equity awards, if applicable, are determined based on individual performance, role scope, market considerations, and overall company results, in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
