Signatera is a circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) assay designed to detect molecular residual disease and monitor disease recurrence. Across GU cancers, including bladder, renal cell carcinoma, and testicular cancers, Signatera provides highly specific molecular insights that can help clinicians assess recurrence risk, monitor disease status, and inform individualized patient management strategies.

The Clinical Oncology Specialist will serve as a strategic field partner and key representative of Natera Oncology, developing relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare providers across academic medical centers, integrated delivery networks, hospital systems, and select community oncology practices.

This position will have a primary focus on Urologic Oncology, with key call points including Urologic Oncologists, GU Surgical Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, Medical Oncologists, Pathologists, and other healthcare providers involved in the diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of patients with genitourinary cancers.

Develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) specializing in GU Oncology, particularly within major academic medical centers and leading urology and oncology practices.

Establish expertise in Natera's molecular diagnostics technology, clinical evidence, product offerings, and competitive landscape.

Collaborate closely with Natera's Core Oncology Sales team and cross-functional partners to align account strategies and maximize commercial effectiveness.

Identify opportunities to expand Signatera adoption through physician education, strategic account development, and multidisciplinary care team engagement.

Navigate complex healthcare systems, reimbursement processes, and institutional requirements to support successful product adoption.

Partner with internal teams to resolve operational challenges, support account needs, and ensure a positive customer experience.

Collaborate with Medical Affairs to support appropriate scientific engagement and KOL development in accordance with company policies.

Support the development of institutional care pathways, account-level workflows, and EMR integrations to facilitate testing adoption.

Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, and evolving clinical evidence in GU Oncology to identify opportunities for territory growth.

Execute sales and marketing initiatives aligned with regional and national Oncology objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.

Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated sales success within Oncology, Urology, Urologic Oncology, Medical Devices, Molecular Diagnostics, Clinical Diagnostics, or the diagnostic laboratory industry.

Experience calling on Urologic Oncologists, GU Surgical Oncologists, Urologists, or other GU Oncology specialists strongly preferred.

Experience selling into academic medical centers, integrated healthcare systems, hospital networks, and/or community oncology practices preferred.

Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals, developing new markets, and growing complex territories.

Experience with molecular diagnostics, precision oncology, or innovative medical technologies preferred.

Ability to travel 50–75%, including overnight travel as required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong understanding of the GU Oncology landscape, including key physician specialties, treatment pathways, and multidisciplinary care models.
