Who this role is best for

Best suited to candidates with hands-on lab experience in mRNA/LNP production and mammalian cell culture working in biotech therapeutics.

Best fit for

  • Candidates with hands-on experience in mRNA/LNP unit operations and mammalian cell culture
    — “Familiarity with mRNA/LNP unit operations (e.g., in vitro transcription, chromatography, normal flow filtration, tangential flow filtration). Hands-on mammalian cell culture experience at the bench”
  • Individuals seeking immersive, full-time lab experience in a cutting-edge biotech environment
    — “Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work full-time (35-40 hours/week) on site in Boston’s Seaport throughout the ≥6-month Co-op”
  • Students with strong process development and documentation skills in a scientific context
    — “Draft, review, and maintain documentation (SOPs, protocols, batch records)”

Things to consider

  • The role requires a full-time, in-person commitment for at least six months in Boston’s Seaport
    — “Full-time Co-op (≥6 months) · In person · Boston, MA (Seaport)”
  • This is a technical role that requires specific lab skills, not just academic coursework
    — “Hands-on mammalian cell culture experience at the bench (sterile technique, passaging, transfection, viability assays), not coursework alone”

How to stand out

  • Highlight specific lab techniques you've used in mRNA/LNP production or cell culture
    — “Support routine mRNA and LNP production, purification, and analytical testing”
  • Emphasize experience with process development and scale-up in your resume or interview
    — “Assist with LNP formulation and optimization, including process development and scale-up”
