About the role

Original posting from Lucanet Group

The Role

As a Tax Technology Consultant (all genders), you’ll help clients digitalize their tax function by turning tax requirements into clear, automated processes in our Tax Compliance and Reporting solution. This is a remote role based in Germany, working at the intersection of tax know-how, process design, and software implementation, and you’ll become a trusted contact for companies of different sizes and industries.

You’ll join our Tax Technology team and work closely with tax specialists, IT experts, developers, product teams, and client stakeholders. With support from your colleagues, you’ll grow step by step into more complex projects. We look for people who keep growing, take real ownership, and lift the people around them.

What you'll do

Configure our Tax Compliance and Reporting solution to match client tax processes and compliance requirements, owning defined workstreams.

Design and implement data flows and interfaces, including REST APIs, between our solution and client systems.

Analyze existing system landscapes and implement improvements that automate and optimize client tax processes.

Explain technical topics and how our solution works to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.

Bring your tax and process know-how into client discussions, product feedback, and internal knowledge-building.

Prepare training materials, support webinars and client trainings, and keep customers updated on new features.

Share knowledge actively to build expertise across the Tax Technology team.

What you bring to the table

You have:

First hands-on experience in tax technology, tax advisory, corporate tax, tax compliance, or a related field.

A strong affinity for IT, digital tools, and data-driven processes, and you pick up new systems quickly.

A structured, detail-oriented approach: you break down challenges and turn them into practical concepts, processes, or software requirements.

A consulting mindset: you enjoy client-facing work and build trust through clear communication.

Very good written and spoken German and English.

It’s a plus if you also have:

Experience with tax software or first experience with integrations such as REST APIs, gained at a consultancy, corporate, or software vendor.

An understanding of tax law and tax processes, and interest in regulatory developments. You can also build this on the job.

A degree in business informatics, tax, finance, business administration, economics, or a related field.
