As a Content Strategist, you’ll play a critical role in shaping how content drives discovery, engagement, and action across digital experiences. Working with cross-functional teams spanning Experience Strategy, Data & Insights, Experience Design, and Technology, you’ll translate customer needs, behavioral insights, search intent, and business priorities into actionable content strategies that inform the future-state experience.

You’ll help clients understand what content their audiences need, how it should be structured, organized, and delivered, and how it can better support customer journeys and business outcomes. From content audits and information architecture to content modeling, governance, SEO/GEO, and AI-driven discovery, you’ll establish scalable content frameworks that make experiences more relevant, findable, useful, and effective across websites, digital products, and emerging channels.

What You’ll Do

Partner with Experience Strategy to translate customer journeys, audience intent, and experience goals into clear content requirements, priorities, and recommendations

Conduct content audits and current-state assessments to evaluate content quality, performance, relevance, gaps, duplication, and opportunities for improvement

Define content hierarchies, information priorities, and content pathways that help customers find what they need and take meaningful action

Develop content prioritization and rationalization recommendations to determine what content should be retained, refined, consolidated, created, or retired

Create messaging frameworks and editorial guidelines that establish clear, consistent, audience-focused communication across digital experiences

Define content models, taxonomies, metadata, and structured-content approaches that support discoverability, personalization, reuse, and scalability

Shape SEO/GEO and AI discovery strategies by aligning content with search intent, audience questions, content quality, structure, and emerging AI-driven experiences

Support content migration planning, mapping existing content to future-state structures, templates, and content models

Establish content governance recommendations, editorial standards, and workflows that help clients maintain quality, consistency, and relevance over time

Define content performance measures and partner with Data & Insights to evaluate effectiveness, identify optimization opportunities, and inform ongoing improvements

Write, edit, or shape strategic and experience content when appropriate to the engagement|

Your Experience & Skills

4+ years of experience in content strategy, digital content, UX content, content design, or a related discipline

Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to connect customer needs, business objectives, and content opportunities

Experience working across large websites, digital products, platforms, or complex content ecosystems

Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret research, website analytics, search performance, and behavioral insights to inform recommendations

Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information and articulate clear, compelling recommendations
