About the Role

As a Country Manager, you will be responsible for delivering the country plan for Iberia and help drive the market to sustainable growth. You will report directly to the GM, Europe based in London where our European strategy is developed, and lead a small but mighty local team. This is a general management role spanning demand and supply management, working closely with the team to test and scale commercial and operational growth initiatives while ensuring we meet our budget and financial objectives.  You’ll also work closely with cross functional teams to achieve our ambitious commercial goals.

What You’ll Work On

Delivering our country plan for Spain and Portugal:

Across both sides of the marketplace, demand generation and supply balance. 

Localising the market strategy to deliver core commercial goals including revenue and contribution margin.

Champion Iberia  internally and collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to bring initiatives to life that drive market growth.

As a General Manager connect across all functions driving the Iberia business to identify opportunities for innovation, growth and efficiency.

Manage on-the-ground initiatives that optimise and improve local fulfillment, supply activation and client retention.

Identify and pursue potential external partners to help grow the Iberia business, in collaboration with the global partnerships team

Lead a small but mighty team comprised of Tasker Operations and Partner Management.

Your Areas of Expertise

Overall 8+ years of experience driving of experience in driving commercial growth of a business. Any experience in marketing, operations, business development, and/or P&L management is a plus

Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams, capable of overseeing multiple people across different functions and levels of seniority

Comfortable working heavily with data, and operating at a fast pace in an entrepreneurial environment. Experience working in a startup is a plus, especially a marketplace platform

Excellent communication and relationship building skills, and comfortable presenting to large groups regularly

An exceptional ability to balance creative thinking with strong business judgment and analytical skills 

Problem-solving abilities in both data-rich and data-poor environments; ability to both delve into the details and engage meaningfully on higher-level strategy

A natural inclination to take initiative and ownership, with the ability to independently navigate ambiguous situations and balance multiple priorities

Role includes some travel within Iberia and occasional travel to London and the US.

Fluent in Spanish and English

Compensation & Benefits: 

At Taskrabbit, our approach to compensation is designed to be competitive, transparent, and equitable. Total compensation consists of base pay + bonus + benefits + perks. The base pay range for this position is €56,000-€80,000. This range is representative of base pay only, and does not include any other total cash compensation amounts, such as company bonus or benefits. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above and will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, geography, and level.
