About Metabase

Metabase is the leading open-source business intelligence and embedded analytics platform — trusted by tens of thousands of organizations to put data in the hands of everyone, not just analysts. From no-code dashboards to white-labeled in-app analytics powered by our React SDK, we help teams move faster by making data genuinely accessible. We're a remote-first company that cares deeply about craft, clarity, and building tools people actually love to use.

The Role

We're looking for a Product Marketer to help tell the story of what Metabase does and why it matters. You'll work at the intersection of product, sales, and marketing — translating complex capabilities into crisp, compelling narratives that resonate with data teams, developers, and business users alike. This is a high-ownership role with real creative latitude and close collaboration with product and go-to-market teams.

What You'll Own:

Test design and channel exploration

-

Develop and maintain a pipeline of experiments across channels — paid social, newsletters, community platforms, email, digital events, conference sponsorships, and others

-

Design each test with a clear hypothesis, defined success metrics, and a realistic timeline for learning

-

Identify and evaluate new channel opportunities — from niche SMB technology newsletters to retargeting programs for closed-lost accounts — and build the case for where to invest next

-

Stay close to where Metabase's target audiences (data teams, developers, technical buyers) actually spend their time, and bring creative ideas for reaching them there

Execution and coordination

-

Own campaign execution end-to-end: briefing copy and creative, coordinating with internal stakeholders, managing vendor relationships, and hitting launch dates

-

Run programs across a wide range of formats — newsletter sponsorships, Reddit and Meta ad campaigns, retargeting, closed-lost re-engagement, digital events like demo weeks, and conference sponsorships

-

Work closely with the PMM and content teams to ensure messaging is sharp, on-brand, and tailored to the channel and audience

-

Manage budgets and allocate spend across the portfolio based on performance and learning goals

Measurement and iteration

-

Define KPIs for every program before it launches — and hold yourself accountable to them

-

Build and maintain dashboards that make campaign performance visible and legible to stakeholders across marketing and sales

-

Synthesize results into clear, actionable learnings: what worked, what didn't, what to do next, and what to kill

-

Develop a compounding library of learnings that makes each new test smarter than the last

What You Bring:

-

Proven experience running multi-channel marketing campaigns in a B2B SaaS environment, with clear ownership of performance outcomes

-

A structured, experimental mindset: you define success before you start, and you know how to isolate variables to get a clean signal

-

Hands-on experience with paid channels (Meta, Reddit, LinkedIn, or similar), email platforms, and campaign reporting tools

-

Strong project management skills — you can coordinate copy, creative, approvals, and launch logistics across multiple programs simultaneously without dropping the ball

-

Comfort with ambiguity: many of the channels you'll test won't have a playbook yet, and you'll need to write it

-

Strong written communication skills — not just for briefing creative, but for synthesizing and sharing what you've learned

-

Bonus: experience marketing to technical audiences (developers, data engineers, analysts)

-

Bonus: familiarity with the data and analytics tools landscape
