Your responsibilities

As a Dunning & Collection Analyst, you are responsible for extracting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data from multiple sources to uncover patterns, trends, and insights that drive strategic improvements in our collection processes and recovery rates. You transform raw data into actionable intelligence that informs business decisions and process optimization.

You extract and compile data from various systems and databases to create comprehensive datasets for analysis, utilizing SQL queries and advanced Excel techniques to ensure data accuracy and completeness.

You perform in-depth statistical and exploratory analysis to identify patterns, trends, anomalies, and correlations in customer payment behavior, delinquency rates, collection effectiveness, and dunning performance across different customer segments.

You develop and maintain dashboards and reporting frameworks that track key performance indicators (collection rates, days sales outstanding, recovery efficiency, dunning success rates) and provide visibility into performance drivers.

You conduct root cause analysis on collection challenges and payment failures, drilling down into data to understand why certain customer segments, payment methods, or dunning strategies underperform.

You segment customers and cohorts based on payment behavior, risk profiles, and response patterns to enable targeted collection strategies and personalized dunning approaches.

You propose data-driven solutions based on your findings—from process improvements and policy changes to tool enhancements—and provide quantified business cases to support implementation.

You collaborate with collection teams, finance, and IT to validate findings, ensure data quality, and drive implementation of recommended improvements, monitoring impact through post-implementation analysis.

You maintain comprehensive documentation of your methodologies, data sources, analysis logic, and assumptions to ensure reproducibility and knowledge sharing across teams.

Your profile

You have completed a degree program in data science, mathematics, statistics, business analytics, business administration, economics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent professional experience.

You possess expert-level SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries to extract, transform, and aggregate data from relational databases.

You are highly proficient in MS Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, data modeling, and the ability to handle and analyze large datasets efficiently.

You have hands-on experience with business intelligence tools or data visualization platforms (Power BI, Looker, BI Cubes or similar) to create compelling dashboards and reports.

You have practical experience analyzing financial data, specifically in areas such as accounts receivable, collection processes, payment behavior, or credit risk management.

You possess strong statistical thinking and are comfortable with descriptive and exploratory analysis, hypothesis testing, trend analysis, and correlation studies.

You have a sharp analytical mind with exceptional attention to detail, a natural curiosity to dig deeper into data, and the ability to challenge assumptions.

You excel at translating complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights and compelling business narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences.

You are results-oriented, proactive, self-directed, and take ownership of your analyses from conception through implementation and measurement.

You have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple analyses simultaneously, setting priorities effectively and delivering within deadlines.

You speak English fluently

If you don't check all the boxes above, don't worry—we're looking for the right mindset, analytical drive, and willingness to learn. Your passion for uncovering insights from data matters more than ticking every requirement.
