Electronics / PCB Design Engineer

Revel Robotics
Prague, Czechia
On-site

Who this role is best for

Best suited to candidates with mixed-signal PCB design experience working in robotics and AI hardware development, with a focus on on-site collaboration in Prague.

Best fit for

  • Candidates with mixed-signal PCB design expertise and a background in robotics or wearable technology
    — “design the analog front-end and carrier boards behind the Neural Gambit sleeve and hub”
  • Individuals who have worked with EU fabrication partners and understand design-for-manufacture principles
    — “Specify components and work with EU fabs through bring-up”
  • Engineers with a strong grasp of low-noise analog design and integration with firmware and mechanical teams
    — “Support firmware and mechanical teams through integration”

Things to consider

  • On-site presence in Prague is required, with no mention of remote flexibility
    — “This role is on-site with our engineering team in the Czech Republic”
  • Visa sponsorship is available, but relocation support may be a factor for some candidates
    — “We sponsor your work visa and cover relocation”

How to stand out

  • Highlight experience with biopotential AFEs and high-speed buses in your resume and portfolio
    — “Experience with biopotential AFEs (e.g. ADS1299, Intan)”
  • Emphasize your ability to iterate on signal quality and validate hardware designs
    — “Run design validation and iterate on noise and signal quality”
  • Showcase your proficiency in Altium or KiCad with completed projects from your career

ABOUT REVEL

REVEL is an AI robotics company developing physical intelligence for general-purpose humanoid robots. We capture the force, dexterity and intent of human work with our Neural Gambit wearable, and use it to train RAI, the intelligence that powers our robots. REVEL is headquartered in Palo Alto, California, with R&D and engineering facilities in Prague and Hradec Králové, Czech Republic. This role is on-site with our engineering team in the Czech Republic.

We're looking for an Electronics Engineer to design the analog front-end and carrier boards behind the Neural Gambit sleeve and hub.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Schematic capture and PCB layout for HD-sEMG analog front-end clusters
  • Design power, sync and high-speed camera buses
  • Specify components and work with EU fabs through bring-up
  • Support firmware and mechanical teams through integration
  • Run design validation and iterate on noise and signal quality

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Expert in Altium or KiCad
  • Mixed-signal PCB design experience
  • Understanding of low-noise analog design
  • Design-for-manufacture mindset

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with biopotential AFEs (e.g. ADS1299, Intan)
  • Flex / rigid-flex PCB design
  • High-speed digital (MIPI, USB3)

WHY REVEL

  • Work That Ships: We capture how skilled humans work, their force, touch, and judgment, and our robots do the work. You put robots on a paying customer's floor, not in a demo loop
  • The Team: Colleagues from NVIDIA, SpaceX, and Neura Robotics, and founders you work with directly. No layers, no process between you and the decisions
  • Your Own Hardware: A top-spec GPU workstation, cluster access, and hands-on time with the robots you're building. Not a software sandbox
  • Keep Learning: Conference budget for select roles (GTC, CoRL, ICRA), and room to publish and contribute to open source where our IP allows

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Unlimited Paid Time Off: Real flexibility to take time away when you need it. We trust our people to own their work, their time, and their results
  • Prague, On-Site: Robots need hands, so we work together in our Prague lab. Moving here? We sponsor your work visa and cover relocation
  • Lunch, On Us: Complimentary lunch every working day, plus coffee, snacks, and drinks whenever you need a boost

HOW TO APPLY

  • Apply through the link on this posting.
