About the role

Original posting from DoiT via Greenhouse

Location

Our GTM Systems Engineer will be an integral part of our Enterprise Systems team. This role is based remotely as a full-time employee in the UK, Ireland, Estonia, the Netherlands, or Sweden. We are also open to contractors in Eastern Europe and Portugal.

The Opportunity

We're looking for an engineering-minded owner of the systems our Sales, Marketing and Revenue Operations teams run on: CRM, marketing automation, CPQ and the tools around them. This is not a ticket-queue role. Business teams will bring you solutions ("add a field", "build me a report"). Your job is to find the problem behind the request and see how a change affects every connected system. Then fix it once, ideally so the next person can do it themselves without filing a request. You'll have an internal engineering team to lean on, and you'll use AI tools daily to build faster.

Responsibilities

Own the GTM systems as one connected whole: know how CRM, CPQ, marketing automation and sales-engagement tools share data, and design every change with that in view.

Turn requests into problems: ask what the business is trying to solve, propose options, explain trade-offs, and say "no" or "not like that" when it's the right call.

Remove recurring manual work: measure the effort, then replace it with automation or self-service tools that business users run themselves.

Build automations, small tools and integrations, choosing the simplest approach that will hold up.

Keep the data model lean and trustworthy: retire unused fields and legacy workarounds, and enforce data quality where data enters rather than cleaning it up later.

Keep integrations reliable: use native connectors where they do the job; where something custom is needed, respect API limits, add error handling and monitoring, and keep sandbox and production consistent. Collaborate with our internal engineering team as necessary.

Use AI tools to build, investigate issues, and speed up routine work.

Provide EMEA-hours support for the GTM stack, and use what you see there to pick the next fix.

Document changes and follow change management from sandbox to production.

Current Sales/Marketing Tech Stack: Salesforce, Dealhub CPQ, Hubspot, ZoomInfo, Gong Professional, Gong Engage, Gong Forecasting, Lusha, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Dripify, Ringlead

Qualifications

3+ years hands-on with Salesforce Sales Cloud (advanced Flow, data and security model), plus HubSpot and/or DealHub CPQ.

Working knowledge of Apex, SOQL and REST APIs, and able to write scripts in Python or JavaScript.

A track record of replacing manual processes with automation or self-service, with before-and-after examples.

Systems thinking: good judgment about where logic and data should live across connected systems.

Understanding of lead-to-quote-to-close and the marketing funnel (lead lifecycle, attribution).

Comfortable using AI coding and automation tools every day.

Clear communicator who can push back on requests with reasons, and works well with business users and engineers.

Fluent English, additional languages are a plus.

Ability to work in the country of residence (we do not provide visa sponsorship).

Nice to have:

Salesforce Platform App Builder or Platform Developer I certification;

Git/SFDX; depth in Gong, ZoomInfo or HubSpot; cloud platform experience;

experience with an integration platform or event-driven systems.
