ABOUT THE ROLE

Physical Intelligence builds AI for robots. Our operations teams keep hands-on work running on schedule for research and production. As a Coordinator, you plan and buy for your area of work, direct the people doing it each day, and keep it moving when priorities change.

THE TEAM

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

  • Planning: Turn incoming requirements into a weekly work plan.
  • Purchasing: Source and buy supplies within a set budget.
  • Prioritization: Decide quantities, timing, and priority when requests compete.
  • Daily direction: Direct contractors and Specialists day to day, and work hands-on when the team needs it.
  • Readiness: Check that work is complete and meets spec before handoff.

WHAT WE HOPE YOU'LL BRING

  • 2+ years in purchasing, inventory, set building, production design, retail or event installs, kitchen, or warehouse operations
  • Experience coordinating a team's daily work on tight timelines
  • Strong judgment on quantities, timing, and priorities
  • Attention to detail and comfort with tracking tools
  • Ability to stand, lift up to 40 lbs, and move around all shift

BONUS POINTS

  • Experience in film, TV, theater, or event set work
  • Experience buying consumables on a daily cadence
  • Familiarity with inventory systems

Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
