About the role

Original posting from Figma via Greenhouse

Figma is growing our team of passionate creatives and builders on a mission to make design accessible to all. Figma’s platform helps teams bring ideas to life—whether you're brainstorming, creating a prototype, translating designs into code, or iterating with AI. From idea to product, Figma empowers teams to streamline workflows, move faster, and work together in real time from anywhere in the world. If you're excited to shape the future of design and collaboration, join us!

We're hiring an Executive Recruiter to help shape the next generation of senior leadership at Figma. In this highly strategic role, you'll partner closely with senior leaders to define and deliver searches for some of our most critical hires across the business, spanning Director, VP, and C-suite roles.

You'll serve as a trusted advisor throughout the search process - from shaping the role and talent strategy through offer and close. You'll bring a strong point of view on the executive talent market, leading talent mapping, market research, and competitive intelligence to help leaders make thoughtful hiring decisions. Along the way, you'll build trusted relationships with exceptional senior leaders and deliver a high-touch candidate experience. Given the visibility and confidential nature of these searches, you'll operate with a high degree of autonomy, judgment, and discretion.

This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.

What you’ll do at Figma:

Own full-cycle executive searches end-to-end, from intake and role scoping through pipeline generation, assessment, offer negotiation, and close - for Director, VP, and above roles across the entire Figma business

Serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to senior hiring leaders, helping shape search strategy, calibrate candidate profiles, and navigate org design and talent decisions

Lead in-depth talent mapping and market research across industries, competitors, and adjacent spaces to build a real-time understanding of the executive talent landscape

Act as a brand steward, ensuring every touchpoint—with candidates, hiring leaders, and the business—reflects Figma's values, quality, and attention to craft

Lead offer strategy and negotiation for senior candidates, balancing candidate experience with business needs

Continuously refine search and partnership approaches based on market signals, hiring outcomes, and stakeholder feedback

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with at least 2+ years focused on executive hiring

Experience hiring for both technical and non-technical leadership roles in house

A track record of owning searches end-to-end and closing senior leadership hires (Director, VP, C-suite)

Demonstrated ability to build trusted, consultative partnerships with senior stakeholders and influence their thinking

Strong business acumen, with a clear understanding of how leadership roles impact company strategy and the ability to speak credibly to org design and talent tradeoffs

While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:

Experience in product-driven or design-led technology companies

At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. We believe in hiring smart, curious people who are excited to learn and develop their skills. If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with the points outlined in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
