About the role

Who we are

Atoms is building the machines that power the next era of progress.

Over the last decade, software has transformed the digital world. But the physical world, where food is made, minerals are mined, goods are moved, and industries are run, remains far less intelligent, far less efficient, and far more constrained. We’re changing that.

Atoms builds Physical AI— real-world robots for the industries that move civilization forward, starting with food, mining, and transport. Our systems are designed to understand, predict, and control the real world with precision, turning complex physical operations into something more reliable, more scalable, and more productive.

This work requires more than robotics. It requires deep integration across hardware, software, AI, operations, manufacturing, and real estate. We don’t just build machines in a lab. We deploy them into real environments, operate them, learn from them, and improve them until they work at scale.

We are roboticists, engineers, operators, and builders. We believe the next great technology companies will not only transform information, but the physical systems that shape everyday life.

If you want to work on hard problems with real-world impact, join us.

What you’ll do

Coordinate construction, renovation and demolition projects from planning through completion, keeping work on schedule and minimizing disruption to the team

Source, schedule and manage outside vendors and contractors for furniture assembly, equipment installation and moving large or heavy items

Partner with engineering teams to plan and make the best use of space, including labs, shop areas, storage and desks

Order and track equipment, supplies and consumables, and maintain inventory and vendor relationships

Collaborate with the Real Estate team on project timelines, move-in dates and site readiness

Serve as the on-site point of contact for contractors and vendors on engineering space projects, from build-outs and lab setups to equipment installs and moves

Track project budgets, quotes, purchase orders and invoices

Help make sure spaces meet safety, access and compliance requirements

What we’re looking for

2+ years of experience in facilities coordination, office operations, construction coordination or a related role

Experience coordinating construction, renovation or move projects with contractors and vendors

Strong vendor management skills, including getting quotes, scheduling, and holding vendors to timelines and quality

Highly organized, and able to juggle several projects and shifting priorities at once

Experience with purchasing, inventory tracking and managing budgets

Clear, proactive communicator who works well with engineers, real estate partners and outside vendors

Comfortable being hands-on and on-site, including occasional lifting and walking active job sites

Working knowledge of workplace safety practices; familiarity with building codes, permits, or engineering and lab environments is a plus
