About the Role

As a Field Operator, you will serve as Traba's in-market operational hands — focused on recruiting, onboarding, and preparing workers for placement across the market. Rather than being anchored to a single customer, you'll support the broader market and may interact with multiple customer sites as volume and coverage needs dictate.

You'll be the local face of Traba to our workforce: building community partnerships, running onboarding sessions, and making sure every worker is vetted, prepared, and ready to succeed on their first shift. This role requires professionalism, bilingual communication, strong recruiting instincts, and the flexibility to flex across worker funnel needs in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Worker Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with workers across the market — owning the experience from recruiting through placement and providing timely updates, feedback, and support.
  • Community & Partner Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with workforce centers, community organizations, and local partners to drive worker pipeline and brand presence in the market.
  • Worker Vetting & Onboarding: Oversee worker vetting, drug testing, and onboarding end-to-end, including running large group onboarding sessions when volume calls for it.
  • Worker Funnel Management: Manage the full worker funnel — sourcing, screening, scheduling, and converting applicants into placement-ready workers.
  • New Start Scheduling: Coordinate interviews and start schedules for new hires across customer sites, ensuring workers are matched to the right opportunities at the right time.
  • PPE & On-Site Support: Distribute and manage PPE, and provide on-site presence at customer facilities as needed to support new starts, escalations, or peak coverage.
  • Communication & Reporting: Maintain consistent, proactive feedback loops with Traba HQ — flagging market trends, funnel issues, or coverage risks early.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) required.
  • 1–2+ years of experience in operations or customer-facing environments, including but not limited to: staffing, manufacturing, warehouse, retail, food service, teaching, or on-site coordination.
  • Strong recruiting instincts and the ability to source, screen, and convert candidates.
  • Comfortable running large group onboarding sessions and presenting in front of workers.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills (email and in-person).
  • Professional demeanor and ability to represent Traba with workers, partners, and client stakeholders.
  • Flexible and adaptable — able to shift priorities and locations as market needs evolve.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and a proactive problem solver.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic warehouse and field environments.
