About the role

Original posting from Quantexa via Ashby

What we’re all about

Quantexa is a global leader in AI-powered Decision Intelligence. As one of the UK’s fastest-growing technology companies, we’re on a mission to help organisations make better, more trusted decisions.

As we continue to grow globally, we’re looking for an ambitious and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our Financial Reporting team, playing an important role in supporting accurate financial reporting across our growing international business.

At Q, we’re looking for people who share that vision — people who are curious, collaborative and excited to make an impact. People like you.

The Opportunity.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of key areas of the reporting cycle, working across multiple entities to ensure accurate and timely financial information. You’ll bring strong technical accounting expertise, support robust financial controls and help identify opportunities to improve how we operate.

You’ll also work closely with colleagues across Finance and the wider business, providing insight and guidance on financial matters and helping to ensure we have the right processes in place to support effective decision-making.

What You’ll Be Doing.

  • Support the Month-End: Play a key role in the month-end close alongside the Group Reporting team, owning accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations for your areas, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Lead Accounts Payable: Own the end-to-end accounts payable process, from supplier onboarding and invoice processing to payment runs, ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and on time with robust controls in place.
  • Own Project Accounting: Track the financial performance of specific initiatives, ensuring costs are captured, allocated and reported correctly, and providing clear insight to project stakeholders.
  • Manage Travel & Expenses: Oversee travel spend and the travel and expense systems used across the business, maintaining clear policies, driving compliance and identifying opportunities to control costs.
  • Strengthen Our Treasury Function: Contribute to the treasury function by building and maintaining cash flow models, producing cash reporting and forecasts, and managing our day-to-day banking relationships.

What You’ll Bring.

  • A professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in an operational finance role, with hands-on ownership of accounts payable, cash management and month-end processes.
  • Hands-on experience building cash flow models and forecasts, and working directly with banking partners.
  • Advanced Excel capabilities and experience tracking and reporting spend at a project or initiative level.
  • Experience managing and developing people and resources within an operational finance team, with excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Industry experience within a high-growth tech or SaaS company.
  • Experience implementing or managing travel and expense systems (e.g. Ramp, Navan or similar).
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems like NetSuite.
  • A track record of automating and improving AP, treasury or expense processes.

Our perks and quirks.

What makes you Q will help you to realise your full potential, flourish and enjoy what you do, while being recognised and rewarded with our broad range of benefits.

We offer:

  • Competitive salary & Company bonus
  • 25 days annual leave (with the option of buying up to 5 days, and rolling over up to 10), plus national holidays + your birthday off!
  • Pension scheme with a company contribution of 6% (when you contribute 3%)
  • Private Healthcare, including dental & optic cover
  • Life Insurance and Income Protection
  • Regularly bench-marked salary rates
  • Enhanced Maternity, Paternity, Adoption, or Shared Parental Leave
  • Well-being days
  • Volunteer Day off
  • Work from Home Equipment
  • Commuter, Tech and cycle to work schemes
  • Free Subscription to a meditation, relaxation and sleep app
  • Continuous Training and Development
