How we Work

We move fast, debrief quickly, and expect you to own your output. This is a dynamic company, we value speed and decisiveness over process. You'll have the context you need to make good decisions, and the autonomy to make them.

This role follows a hybrid model. We ask that you're in our office in Sao Paulo 3 days per week.

About the Role

Tensec is hiring a FinOps Analyst to process disbursements for our Brazil business. You'll be the person making sure that outbound payments to clients and partners go out accurately and on time, every day, the kind of work where getting it right, consistently, is what makes cross-border payments actually work.

A day in this role looks like processing that day's batch of disbursements, checking each one against the underlying payment instructions, confirming settlement with the bank, and reconciling what went out against what was expected, then flagging anything that doesn't match before it becomes a client-facing problem.

What You'll Do

  • Process daily disbursements for Tensec's Brazil operations, ensuring payments are accurate, complete, and executed on time
  • Validate payment instructions against internal records before disbursement to catch errors before they go out
  • Reconcile disbursement activity against bank statements and internal systems, identifying and flagging discrepancies
  • Coordinate with banking partners to confirm settlement of disbursements and follow up on delays or exceptions
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and trackers of disbursement activity
  • Support month-end reporting related to disbursement volumes and reconciliation status
  • Escalate discrepancies, delays, or unusual patterns promptly to your manager and the broader Finance Operations team
  • Assist with ad hoc financial operations requests as Tensec's Brazil business scales

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in finance operations, treasury operations, payments/disbursements processing, or a similar role at a bank, fintech, or financial services company
  • Working knowledge of Brazilian payment rails
  • Strong attention to detail, you catch a mismatched number before it becomes a problem
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets and reconciling data across multiple sources
  • Working proficiency in English for coordination with Tensec's main office
  • Based in or able to work from São Paulo

Compensation, Benefits and Perks

  • Competitive base salary
  • Health insurance
  • Meal vouchers
  • Paid time off and local statutory holidays
  • Learning and development budget

This role follows a hybrid model. We ask that you're in our Sao Paulo office 3 days per week.
