About Linero
Linero is building the operational infrastructure that ensures the world's most sensitive technologies reach the right hands, and never the wrong ones.
Our customers include some of the most consequential companies in the world: leading AI labs, aerospace and defense primes, semiconductor giants, quantum computing pioneers, and companies pushing the frontier in chemicals, advanced manufacturing, and robotics.
We are an AI-native, venture-backed company creating a new category of software at the intersection of national security, industrial infrastructure, and enterprise AI.
The Role
As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Linero, you are the person who makes our product real for our customers. You will embed directly at customer sites - some of the largest and most complex enterprises in the world - and own the full technical deployment of Linero's platform within their environments. This means navigating sprawling internal systems, building custom integrations, and solving problems on the ground that no one has solved before. You are part engineer, part technical lead, part trusted advisor, and you thrive in that combination.
What You'll Own
- Lead the end-to-end technical deployment of Linero's platform at enterprise customer sites across the US and internationally
- Develop deep familiarity with each customer's internal systems, workflows, and technical environment
- Build and configure custom integrations that embed Linero into existing customer infrastructure
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers during and after deployment
- Surface product gaps, integration patterns, and customer feedback to the core engineering team
- Build deployment playbooks and documentation that help scale and systematize what you learn in the field
- Work across multiple concurrent customer deployments with varying levels of technical complexity
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, or technical implementation
- Strong backend engineering skills; you can read, write, and debug code across the stack when needed
- Experience working directly with enterprise customers in a technical capacity
- Exceptional problem-solving ability in ambiguous, high-pressure environments; you figure it out
- Strong communication skills; you can translate complex technical realities to non-technical stakeholders without losing precision
- Experience with enterprise systems and integrations - ERPs, SaaS platforms, internal APIs - is a strong plus
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to customer sites as needed
- Based in or willing to relocate to New York City
What We Offer
- Competitive compensation commensurate with experience
- Early equity in a company with proven market demand and a clear growth trajectory
- Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision
- The opportunity to represent Linero at the frontier, traveling globally, embedding inside the world's most consequential enterprises, and solving problems no one has solved before
- A high-ownership, high-autonomy environment where your work has direct and visible impact
Equal Opportunity & Eligibility
- Linero is an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
- This role requires access to export-controlled information. Applicants must be U.S. persons (citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees) as defined under applicable U.S. law.
- Start date is immediate, with flexibility for the right candidate. If you are not based in New York, we can accommodate remote work for an initial period and offer relocation assistance on a case-by-case basis.
