About the role

Original posting from Lucanet Group

Project overview

As a Fractional Senior Communications Consultant at Lucanet, you deliver most of our day-to-day internal and external communication. This lets our Strategic Communications function put its foundations in place: processes, structures and clear ways of working. The project runs for 3 to 6 months and is delivered remotely. Occasional collaboration in Berlin is welcome but not required.

You collaborate with our Marketing teams on website, campaigns, brand and events, and with the People team on change and people-related topics. You also work with Sales, Professional Services and other customer-facing teams on corporate topics that reach customers, and with agencies and external partners on briefings and coordination. Executive content is coordinated through the Strategic Communications function. We look for people who keep growing, take real ownership, and lift the people around them.

Project details

Expected scope: around 12 to 14 days per month, with flexibility in peak periods, to be agreed in the contract.

Duration: 3 to 6 months, with a scope review after the first three months.

Approval: deliverables on external, executive and confidential topics are approved by Lucanet before release.

Confidentiality: an NDA is part of the contract.

Start: we provide an initial briefing on context, channels and key stakeholders.

Project scope

Own the regular internal newsletter end to end: content planning, writing, sign-off, distribution and performance tracking.

Deliver change communications for defined initiatives with People and other stakeholders: key messages, manager cascade packs, sequencing plans, follow-up.

Coordinate internal stakeholders: create briefings, keep deadlines and sign-offs on track and manage incoming requests.

Draft press releases and media statements and support media relations on corporate topics, alongside our agency.

Create key messages, customer letters and FAQs on corporate announcements for customer-facing teams, including Sales and Professional Services.

Advise the talent team on employer branding positioning.

Help build the function’s foundations, for example by setting up the editorial calendar.

Support leadership communication as capacity allows.

Collaborate with the Strategic Communications function on briefings and priorities.

Expertise required

You have:

Proven change and internal communication delivery in a scale-up or PE-backed company, ideally across agency and in-house settings.

Excellent written English

Media relations experience.

Confidence with senior stakeholders, including holding the line on deadlines and sign-offs.

Proven discretion with confidential people and organisational topics.

Independent delivery with minimal briefing, backed by strong project management skills.

It’s a plus if you also have:

Business-fluent German (C1).

A B2B software or finance background, including finance and tax audiences.

Experience with AI-assisted content workflows.
