About This Role:

Crusoe is seeking a strategic and results-driven Global Category Manager, Power to lead category strategy, sourcing, and supplier management across Crusoe Cloud’s data center categories. This role is critical for driving cost efficiency, supply resiliency, and partnerships across regions, directly contributing to the overall success of Crusoe's expansion. We are looking for a strong operator and strategic thinker who can serve as the single-threaded leader for global category strategy, bringing a strong background in global sourcing, supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, and cross-functional leadership. This is a full-time position with flexibility to be based in Bellevue (WA).

What You'll Be Working On:

  • Global Category Strategy: Develop and implement global sourcing and category strategies that are innovative, cost-effective, and consistently aligned with company objectives.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Evaluate, develop, and actively manage relationships with key global suppliers, ensuring they consistently meet Crusoe's quality standards and critical delivery deadlines.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiation of global supplier contracts and commercial terms to secure favorable pricing, payment terms, and conditions.
  • Risk Management & Contingency: Conduct comprehensive risk management across the global supply base, including proactive contingency planning to ensure business continuity.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate activities with internal and external stakeholders to accurately plan for category needs across the business.
  • Spend Analysis & Cost Optimization: Analyze global spend, market conditions, and supplier performance to identify cost savings opportunities and negotiation leverage.
  • Business Review Coordination: Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and ongoing performance reviews with strategic global suppliers.
  • Sustainability Integration: Implement and champion sustainability practices in procurement and sourcing operations, ensuring alignment with Crusoe's environmental goals.

What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, International Trade, or a related field.
  • Experience & Leadership: Approximately 5-7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement, preferably for Data Center Infrastructure, Cloud, or Hardware supply chains.
  • Operational Track Record: Proven track record of managing global supply chains, complex supplier relationships, ensuring vendor compliance, and implementing process improvements at scale.
  • Core Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical Prowess: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Strategic Supply Management: Proven experience working with global manufacturers and suppliers, owning contract negotiation, supplier qualification, documentation, and performance management.
  • Supply Chain Experience: Background working with hyperscalers, OEM/ODMs, or infrastructure providers.

Compensation:

Compensation will be paid in the range of $140,000 – $170,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment
