For our studio in Utrecht, Netherlands, we are looking for a highly collaborative, passionate and skilled Graphics Programmer that can support our graphics programming team and implement high-level graphical effects as well as as well as making low-level enhancements to the graphics engines we work with to enable and optimize these on various platforms.

Responsibilities

Designing and writing well structured, readable and maintainable code

Key role in a team working on a large code base

Working with state of the art graphics and lighting techniques

Debugging and solving different development problems pragmatically

Essential Requirements

At least 3 years of previous experience as a programmer in the games industry or a related industry

Up to date knowledge of the current APIs such as DirectX 11/12 and OpenGL 4.x and Vulkan.

Profound understanding of state of the art graphics and lighting techniques.

Solid mathematical background.

Fluent in C++ and other applicable programming languages

Strong understanding of optimization techniques

Thorough understanding of code performance and complexity

Works well in an environment with deadlines and milestones

Good communication skills in written and spoken English

Living in the Netherlands, not a remote role
