About EliseAI

At EliseAI, we're improving the industries that matter most: housing and healthcare. Everyone needs a place to live and access to quality healthcare, yet both are often harder to secure than they should be.

By integrating AI agents deeply into existing workflows, we make them more efficient, reduce costs, and improve the experience for everyone.

  • Housing: We simplify how renters tour apartments, sign leases, submit maintenance requests, and stay connected with their property team—bringing everything they need for their home into one place.
  • Healthcare: We make it easy to schedule appointments, complete intake forms, and we help patients communicate with providers, so everyone can focus on health instead of paperwork.

With EliseAI, organizations reduce manual work, improve accessibility, and deliver a seamless experience across essential services. We recently raised a $250 million Series E round https://www.eliseai.com/blog/eliseai-raises-250m-series-e led by Andreessen Horowitz to accelerate this mission.

About the role

EliseAI is transforming housing and healthcare through best-in-class conversational AI. As we scale, it’s critical that employees, clients, and partners deeply understand how our platform works—and how to use it to drive real outcomes.

As an Instructional Designer at EliseAI, you’ll design high-impact learning experiences that support functional onboarding, product education, and performance enablement. You’ll collaborate closely with subject matter experts across product, engineering, marketing, and client-facing teams to create clear, effective learning content—from in-depth guides and product walkthroughs to internal training modules and scalable enablement assets.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, loves translating complex ideas into intuitive learning experiences, and wants to shape how knowledge is scaled across teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop instructional content that supports onboarding, internal enablement, and product education
  • Partner with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, validate technical accuracy, and co-create engaging learning experiences
  • Write scripts for training videos, product walkthroughs, demos, and other educational content
  • Translate complex workflows and product features into clear, actionable, and engaging learning experiences
  • Create interactive guides, video explainers, motion graphics, and live training materials to support feature rollouts
  • Leverage Figma to design clean, branded layouts, prototypes, and learning templates
  • Use motion and visual storytelling to make key concepts memorable and easy to grasp
  • Conduct needs assessments, learner research, and usability testing to ensure solutions drive measurable impact
  • Establish and evolve frameworks, templates, and systems to accelerate content creation and improve scalability
  • Regularly audit and iterate content to ensure accessibility, usability, and alignment with business goals

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or enablement in a SaaS or tech environment
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design best practices, and performance-based learning
  • Proficiency in Figma for visual design, prototyping, and collaboration
  • Experience with e-learning and motion design tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Rise, Storyline, Camtasia, After Effects, Premiere Pro)
  • Ability to translate technical and operational concepts into intuitive learning assets
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills across visual, written, and verbal mediums
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG), SCORM/xAPI, and learner feedback loops

Bonus if you have

  • A degree in Instructional Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or a related visual or digital design field
  • Experience designing education or onboarding experiences for B2B SaaS
  • Background in motion, interaction, or visual storytelling
  • Experience with LMS platforms (e.g., Skilljar, Lessonly, WorkRamp) and performance evaluation frameworks like Kirkpatrick or Bloom’s Taxonomy
