JOB INFORMATION We're looking for a high-performing Insurance Sales Producer to join a growing Farmers agency and drive new business across Personal Lines. This is a full-cycle sales role where you'll have the opportunity to build relationships, generate new business, close sales, grow your book, and create long-term customer relationships. If you're licensed, competitive, motivated by earning potential, and ready to take your insurance sales career to the next level, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do New Business Development Respond promptly to agency-provided leads, inbound calls, and web inquiries. Prospect consistently through outbound calls, texts, emails, and follow-up. Re-engage aged and unsold quotes to uncover additional opportunities. Generate business through referrals, networking, community involvement, and local relationships. Build relationships with realtors, mortgage lenders, auto dealers, business owners, and other referral partners. Represent the agency at networking events, chamber functions, and community events. Maintain a disciplined sales pipeline and consistent follow-up cadence. Take ownership of opportunities from the initial conversation through the close. Consultative Insurance Sales Conduct needs-based conversations to understand each customer's household, assets, exposures, drivers, property details, and coverage needs. Identify opportunities across Personal Lines insurance products. Quote available Farmers products and platforms to find the right combination of coverage and value. Present coverage options based on protection and customer needs — not simply the lowest price. Recommend appropriate liability limits, deductibles, umbrella coverage, and endorsements. Clearly explain coverage recommendations and available options to customers. Convert quotes into bound business and long-term client relationships. Closing & Onboarding Bind coverage accurately and efficiently. Collect required documentation, signatures, and down payments. Assist customers with billing and onboarding. Conduct welcome/onboarding calls with new clients. Explain coverage and billing expectations. Ensure accurate documentation and a clean handoff to the service team. Account Rounding & Cross-Selling Identify opportunities to turn single-policy customers into multi-policy households. Cross-sell products such as: Home Auto Umbrella Life Partner with the Life Insurance Specialist and Commercial Producer when additional opportunities are identified. Ask for referrals at key customer touchpoints. Support retention by proactively engaging clients when opportunities or risks are identified. Compliance & Documentation Maintain complete, timely, and accurate records in the agency management system. Document quotes, contacts, recommendations, and transactions appropriately. Follow Farmers underwriting guidelines, binding authority limits, and agency procedures. Maintain your insurance license and continuing education requirements in good standing. Follow Texas Department of Insurance requirements and applicable agency procedures. Follow errors-and-omissions best practices in all customer communication and documentation.
