YOUR ROLE

In the COO Office, you support the COO on commercial and strategic topics at the interface between the COO, CFO, and internal as well as external stakeholders. You get direct insight into how the commercial side of our growth and scaling initiatives is managed, communicated, and implemented.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You prepare and follow up on presentations and meetings for the COO, including materials, agenda, and tracking of open items.
  • You own KPI, budget, and forecast overviews across projects, including the question of where the numbers don't add up.
  • You prepare decision-ready content for board meetings, investor updates, and banking presentations, together with Finance, Strategy, and the CEO Office.
  • You build business cases, make-or-buy analyses, and investment evaluations for new products, investments, and internal initiatives.
  • You coordinate commercial sub-projects within the COO Office, from alignment with the specialist departments through to status reporting.
  • You develop reports, dashboards, and decision templates that are actually used in day-to-day operations.
  • You take ownership of your own work packages end-to-end, from data gathering to recommendation, with guidance and feedback from experienced team members.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Currently studying towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong interest in finance, controlling, or strategy, ideally backed by initial practical experience (internships or working student roles in consulting, finance, corporate development, or a COO environment)
  • High attention to detail when working with numbers and data, with the ability to structure complex information clearly
  • Analytical mindset, structured approach to tasks, and a hands-on, get-things-done attitude
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; experience with financial modeling or dashboarding tools is a plus
  • Enjoy working with diverse stakeholders and collaborating in an international environment
  • Fluent in both German and English
  • Available for 4 to 6 months, full-time onsite in Riederich (Metzingen)
