ABOUT POLYMARKET

Polymarket is the world's largest prediction market platform. We enable individuals to express views on real-world events by trading on outcomes across politics, economics, sports, culture, and current affairs. Built as a peer-to-peer marketplace with no centralized "house," Polymarket aggregates diverse opinions into transparent, market-based probabilities that reflect collective expectations about the future.

We're growing fast, both in terms of volume ($21B traded in 2025) and adoption as an alternative news source. Our ambition is to become a ubiquitous beacon of truth in global media and we need your help adding fuel to the fire.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Growth team at Polymarket is building out a Customer Marketing function from the ground up, and lifecycle is central to that bet. We're not filling a coordinator seat. We're hiring a Lifecycle Director who will own the customer journey end-to-end, set the strategy, define the roadmap, and be accountable for the commercial outcomes that come out of it. You'll report directly to the Head of Customer Marketing and sit peer-level to other lifecycle owners on the team.

The assignment will be scoped to your strengths and where the business needs the most lift at the time of hire, across acquisition and onboarding to retention and reactivation. Either way, the mandate is the same: translate commercial goals into a lifecycle communication and engagement strategy that moves real metrics. You'll direct shared campaign and execution resources, partner with data and martech, and own the results narrative for your area.

This hire matters because lifecycle at Polymarket is still early. There's real opportunity to build something that doesn't exist yet, define the playbook, prove what works, and set the foundation for a team that scales with it. If you want ownership over a meaningful piece of a fast-growing consumer product with a clear line of sight from your work to revenue, this is the role.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own the strategic roadmap for an assigned lifecycle stage, from goal-setting to execution oversight to results, with clear KPIs and a results narrative you write and defend.
  • Design customer journeys, messaging strategy, and engagement cadence across email, push, and SMS, iterating based on performance data and user behavior.
  • Brief and prioritize shared campaign execution resources against lifecycle goals, holding the team accountable to timelines and quality without direct management authority.
  • Partner with data and martech teams to instrument flows, validate test setups, and ensure you have clean measurement in place before campaigns go live.
  • Build a structured test-and-learn program for your lifecycle stage, with clear baselines, documented hypotheses, and a repeatable cadence that compounds over time.
  • Pull and analyze performance data regularly, connecting lifecycle metrics directly to retention curves, reactivation revenue, and LTV impact, not just open rates.
  • Develop a scalable playbook for your area that documents what works and sets the foundation for a dedicated execution hire as the team grows.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 5 or more years in CRM, lifecycle, or retention marketing, with direct ownership of a customer lifecycle stage and measurable commercial outcomes you can speak to specifically.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect lifecycle tactics to business outcomes. You think in terms of retention curves, reactivation revenue, and LTV, and you can show where you moved those numbers.
  • Experience directing execution talent in a shared or matrixed environment. You know how to brief, prioritize, and hold martech, data, and creative teams accountable without a direct reporting line.
  • A track record of structured experimentation. You build test-and-learn programs with clear baselines and hypotheses, not one-off A/B tests run when the timing felt right.
  • Strong written communication skills. You can write a clear strategy doc, a crisp creative brief, and a results narrative that tells a story without burying the point.
  • (Plus) Background building lifecycle programs at a high-growth consumer product, ideally one with a transactional or trading mechanic.
  • (Plus) Hands-on familiarity with Braze or a comparable ESP, and working knowledge of Hightouch or a similar customer data platform.

BENEFITS

  • Competitive salary & equity
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Full Health, Vision, & Dental coverage
  • 401k match
  • Hardware setup: new MacBook Pro, big display, & accessories
