The mission of the Machine & Tool Division (M&T) is to contribute to North America DENSO through automation solutions and expertise.
Position Responsibilities:
Onsite investigation to build a true understanding of customer problems and project scope (some travel may be required).Create a solution through concept development, cost estimation and preparation of design review documents that clearly summarize these details.Present design reviews, on assigned machines, with customers and division management.Execute the mechanical design -- including, but not limited to: creating 3D model (in SolidWorks) that matches concept, specification of purchased components, creation of assembly drawings and fabricated parts drawings.Work with electrical engineering to develop controls concept for the machine and prepare documents that relay needed information.Work closely with build technicians to develop countermeasures to mechanical problems that occur during machine construction.Update final drawing package and create operation manual for the completed machine.On-Site machine modification investigation support (some travel may be required).
