About Homeward

Homeward takes the “what ifs” out of homebuying by creating financial products that give buyers and sellers certainty and convenience. We’re a fast-paced, remote-first real estate startup that partners with real estate agents to offer innovative products and services, helping clients buy with cash, sell with certainty, and time their move, regardless of the market.

Founder and CEO Tim Heyl, owner of one of the fastest-growing agent teams in the country, started Homeward in 2018 to fix the antiquated and broken real estate process. Today, we offer bundled cash offers, mortgage, and title services in 13 states, enabling buyers and sellers to move with certainty and convenience.

We’re a fully remote company with a diverse team spread across several countries - Grounded in three core values: The Golden Rule, One Team One Dream, and Calm Focus. Hear from our employees about what our values mean to them.

About the opportunity

As the Manager of Agent Success at Homeward, you'll lead and significantly scale our Agent Success team at a pivotal stage of growth. You'll have the opportunity to build on an established playbook for prospecting, activating, and growing agent referral relationships—and bring the leadership, operating rigor, and field expertise to expand the team quickly and effectively.

We're looking for a proven leader who has built and led high-performing field business development teams in the real estate industry, with a track record of hiring and ramping reps quickly, setting clear expectations, and consistently achieving or exceeding team quotas. You'll be responsible for translating strategy into execution in the field, developing leaders and reps, and creating the systems and culture that allow a growing team to perform at a high level.

This is an opportunity to make a significant impact as Homeward continues to grow: you'll help shape how we scale our Agent Success organization, develop a high-performing field team, and expand our network of agent partnerships across the country. If you've successfully led and scaled real estate business development teams and are energized by the opportunity to build quickly in a high-growth environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Note: This role may require travel throughout the United States.

In this role, you will:

Scale the team. Hire, onboard, and ramp field business development reps against an ambitious growth plan, building a high-performing team that can grow with the business.

Run and evolve the playbook. Equip new and existing business development reps to execute Homeward's established prospecting, activation, and referral-growth playbook, while identifying opportunities to improve it as the team scales.

Coach for performance. Build a strong coaching culture through regular 1:1s, role play, call reviews, and ongoing development that helps each rep reach their full potential.

Own the team's numbers. Set clear goals and manage to the KPIs that drive success, including in-person activity, agent referrals, pipeline, and closed deals. Review performance and pipeline regularly, identify gaps early, and take action to keep the team on track.

Build a culture of accountability. Set a high bar for execution and performance, create clarity around expectations, and consistently coach toward results while maintaining a positive, high-performing team culture.

Partner cross-functionally. Work closely with Sales leadership, Recruiting, Marketing, Operations, Title, and Mortgage to ensure the field team has the resources, support, and alignment needed to succeed as the organization scales.

What you'll bring

Proven real estate business development leadership experience. 3–5+ years managing a field business development or sales team in the real estate industry, with experience leading reps who build relationships and generate business in the field.

A track record of building high-performing teams. You've hired, onboarded, trained, and coached business development or sales reps—and ideally have experience doing so during a period of rapid growth.

Consistent quota achievement. You have personally led teams accountable to meaningful revenue or production targets, with a track record of consistently achieving or exceeding quota.

A high-accountability management style. You're comfortable setting clear expectations, using data to understand performance, and addressing gaps quickly and constructively.

Strong operating discipline. You're highly organized and reliable, with the ability to establish and maintain a consistent management cadence while operating with significant autonomy.

A player-development mindset. You know how to coach reps to improve their skills, build confidence, and deliver results—and how to recognize and develop high-potential talent as the team grows.

An appetite for growth. You thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and are energized by the opportunity to build, improve, and scale rather than simply maintain an existing organization.

Value-Driven Employee Experience

THE GOLDEN RULE. It’s simple: Treat others the way we want to be treated. Whether we’re dealing with colleagues or customers, we don’t prioritize money or growth over people, and we practice empathy at every opportunity.

CALM FOCUS. We work in tech and build solutions for real estate. Both are fast-paced and stressful industries. But by focusing on the larger objective rather than rushing from one task to the next, we can create solutions our customers love.

ONE TEAM, ONE DREAM. Big problems require big solutions. We look at our customers’ experiences holistically and recognize that solving them requires collaboration across teams and our three affiliate companies — Homeward, Homeward Mortgage and Homeward Title.
