Ensure design documentation, risk management, and engineering changes meet design controls and quality system requirements.

Program Execution

Plan resources, schedules, and budgets across multiple concurrent programs.

Identify technical and schedule risks early, and communicate status and needs clearly to leadership.

Manage the technical side of relationships with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and external design partners.

Cross-Functional Partnership

Work closely with systems, software, mechanical, quality, regulatory, clinical, and operations teams across the product lifecycle.

Build understanding of how the products are used in clinical practice so that the team designs for real user needs.

Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience, or MS with 5+ years.

3+ years of experience leading engineering teams.

Experience developing medical devices or other regulated electro-mechanical products.

Strong fundamentals in analog, digital, and power electronics design.

Working knowledge of IEC 60601, design controls (21 CFR 820 / ISO 13485), and risk management (ISO 14971).

Track record of taking products from concept through commercial launch and supporting them afterward.

Strong communication, project management, and decision-making skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.

Preferred

Experience with capital equipment, energy-based devices, or imaging systems.

Experience with design for reliability, manufacturability, and serviceability.

Experience working in matrixed or Agile environments.
