Role Summary

The Enterprise Reporting & Analytics Lead will own the design, development, and modernization of Riveron’s reporting and analytics layer. This role will focus on creating trusted, governed, and scalable reporting across Finance, Operations, Client Delivery, Sales, and leadership use cases.

The role requires a mix of business-facing analytics leadership and technical BI depth. The ideal candidate can build high-quality dashboards, define semantic models, partner with data architecture, and help move Riveron away from fragmented reporting toward enterprise-grade analytics products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own enterprise reporting standards, dashboard design, semantic-layer requirements, and analytics product delivery.
  • Lead development of Power BI reporting solutions (Microsoft Fabric exposure a plus) across Finance, Operations, Sales, and executive reporting.
  • Translate business reporting needs into scalable data models, measures, KPIs, and analytical views.
  • Partner with the Data Platform & Architecture Lead to ensure dashboards are built on trusted, governed, reusable datasets.
  • Modernize month-end reporting, variance analysis, operational dashboards, and management reporting.
  • Reduce spreadsheet dependency and manual reporting processes through automation and governed BI.
  • Build executive-ready dashboards with strong UX, performance, data quality, and documentation.
  • Partner with AI product engineers to enable natural-language analytics, narrative generation, anomaly detection, and AI-assisted insights.
  • Create reporting governance standards around definitions, ownership, refresh cadence, data lineage, and certification.

Required Experience

  • 5–9 years of experience in BI, enterprise reporting, analytics, or finance analytics.
  • Strong hands-on Power BI experience, including DAX, semantic modeling, Power Query, visualization design, and dashboard performance optimization.
  • Strong SQL skills and understanding of data modeling concepts.
  • Experience building executive-level dashboards and operational reporting products.
  • Ability to partner with business stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics, and reporting logic.
  • Strong attention to data quality, reconciliation, documentation, and user adoption.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Salesforce reporting, Alteryx, or finance data models.
  • Experience in professional services, consulting, finance transformation, or Office of the CFO reporting.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled analytics, automated narrative generation, or variance-explanation tools.
  • Experience managing or mentoring BI developers / analysts.
