Position Summary 

We’re seeking a Marketing Intern (SHEGLAM Hair) (official title: Intern) for our Los Angeles-based corporate office. This role will support the day-to-day management and growth of SHEGLAM Hair’s TikTok and Instagram accounts through content production, publishing, trend research, and data-driven optimization.

Job Responsibilities

Assist with influencer training and campaign communication, including sharing product information, key selling points, and campaign guidelines with creators.

Support live-streaming initiatives by assisting with product communication and coordination with live-streaming agencies to help ensure smooth execution. 

Cross-functional communication with influencers, agencies, and internal teams, as well as other marketing initiatives as needed.

Create and edit social-first content for TikTok and Instagram, including TikTok posts, Stories, Reels, and other short-form content.

Source and adapt viral/trending content, sounds, formats, and cultural moments that are relevant to the SHEGLAM Hair brand.

Support the day-to-day publishing of content, including captions, hashtags, tagging, and platform-specific formatting.

Monitor social media performance and identify high-performing and underperforming content, providing recommendations for future content optimization.

Support community engagement by responding to comments and interacting with relevant creators and accounts.

Maintain awareness of TikTok and Instagram trends, beauty/hair content, and creator culture to continuously bring fresh content ideas to the team.

Support other social media and influencer marketing initiatives as needed, including creator outreach, maintaining creator relationships, and coordinating cross-creator collaborations and account-to-account engagement. 

Job Requirements 

Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Hands-on experience managing a brand or personal TikTok/Instagram account is strongly preferred.

Strong understanding of TikTok and Instagram, with a good instinct for identifying viral and engaging content.

Strong interest in beauty, hair, social media trends, and creator culture.

Basic understanding of social media analytics and the ability to use performance data to make content recommendations.

Strong English communication and writing skills.

Advanced video editing skills using CapCut, Canva, or similar tools. 

Creative, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fastpaced environment.
