About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Medical Customer Support &

Administrative Assistant to join an innovative healthcare AI startup.

Working closely with the Head of Product, you’ll play an important role in managing customer communication, supporting day-to-day administrative tasks, and helping ensure hospitals, clinics, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals receive a fast and professional response when they need assistance.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with medical terminology training or healthcare administration experience who is also comfortable working with technology and enjoys being part of a dynamic startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

● Manage day-to-day customer support communication primarily via email

● Respond to customer questions, requests, and product-related issues in a timely and professional manner

● Communicate with healthcare professionals, including nurses, physicians, and clinical teams

● Use your understanding of medical terminology to accurately understand and respond to customer needs

● Escalate more complex product or technical issues to the appropriate team members

● Manage and coordinate scheduling and appointments

● Support the Head of Product by taking ownership of customer-facing administrative and communication tasks

● Maintain organised records and documentation

● Assist with general administrative tasks as required

● Work collaboratively with the wider team through tools such as Slack and Notion

● Help provide a positive and professional customer experience across every interaction

Requirements:

● Previous experience in healthcare administration, medical reception, clinical

administration, medical customer support, or a similar environment

● Training or practical knowledge of medical terminology is essential

● Excellent written English and strong written communication skills

● Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

● Comfortable communicating professionally with healthcare professionals via email

● Able to understand customer issues, identify what is required, and take appropriate

action

● Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities

● Strong computer literacy and confidence learning new technology

● A proactive, solutions-focused approach

Desirable:

● Experience working with hospitals, clinics, physicians, nurses, or other healthcare

professionals

● Previous experience in a remote administrative or customer support role

● Experience working within a technology or SaaS environment

● Familiarity with Slack, Notion, or similar collaboration tools

● Experience supporting customers with software or technology products

The Ideal Candidate:

We're looking for someone who combines healthcare knowledge with strong administrative and communication skills.

You don't need to be a nurse or medical professional, but you should have enough familiarity with medical terminology to confidently communicate with clinical customers.

You'll also be joining a fast-paced startup environment, so we're looking for someone who is adaptable, tech-savvy, curious, and excited about working with new technology.

Most importantly, you should be someone who takes ownership, communicates clearly, and genuinely enjoys helping customers.

Compensation:

Hours: Part-Time | 20 Hours per Week
