MISSION MANAGER

THE COMPANY

AnySignal is developing the next generation of RF products and services for some of the most demanding space and defense missions. We’re building a flexible, high-performance platform that’s easy to deploy, monitor, and scale, enabling customers to bring advanced radio technologies to life faster than ever before.

THE ROLE

We're hiring a Mission Manager to own the delivery of customer missions from initial planning through integration, testing, and operations.

You'll be at the center of bringing some of the most ambitious space and defense missions to life, working directly with customers, forward deployed engineers, and technical teams to turn complex mission requirements into operational capabilities. From ground station integration and testing to launch readiness and deployment, you'll drive the planning and execution that gets missions off the ground and keeps them running.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you'll take ownership of mission delivery from start to finish. You'll tackle complex technical challenges, bring engineering teams and customers together, and make sure every mission is ready for operations. You'll have a direct impact on how AnySignal supports the next generation of spacecraft and ground communications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build mission plans with customers and internal teams, track dependencies, and keep schedules on track.
  • Coordinate with forward deployed engineers and bring in technical specialists as needed, ensuring teams have the context and information required to execute.
  • Partner with licensing to collect vehicle and mission details, track regulatory filings, and coordinate authorizations with customers and ground providers.
  • Drive customer integrations, radio configurations, and onboarding across internal and partner ground networks through completion and testing.
  • Lead mission readiness reviews and test campaigns, obtain technical sign-off from responsible teams, and identify when a mission is not ready to proceed.
  • Plan deployment and operational support, including launch and early orbit support where applicable.

Required Skills

  • 4-8 years of experience in mission management, mission operations, integration, or technical program management.
  • Experience taking a complex technical mission or deployment through integration, testing, and operations.
  • Ability to hold engineering teams and customers accountable to commitments and push back on unrealistic timelines.
  • Self-directed approach to building plans, managing priorities, and driving execution.

Preferred Skills

  • Technical understanding of RF links, ground software, and mission communications, with the judgment to challenge assumptions and involve specialists when needed.
  • Ground segment or commercial Ground Station as a Service experience.
  • Familiarity with communications licensing and regulatory filings.
  • Experience supporting defense, government, or lunar missions.
  • Experience developing operational procedures and processes in a small company or startup.
