About This Role:

As a Paralegal I, you will serve as a foundational anchor for our legal team, ensuring smooth litigation workflows, accurate contract administration, and organized records management. This is a hybrid, part-time role (20 hours per week) requiring 3 days in the office and 2 days of remote work. Working directly alongside licensed attorneys, your primary goal is to maintain departmental compliance and operational efficiency across consumer litigation, legal tech databases, and corporate governance.

What You'll Do::

-

Support Litigation Intake & Discovery: Log incoming consumer litigation, disputes, and demand letters, investigate background details, gather account records, and prepare standard response templates under attorney supervision.

-

Administer Contracts & NDAs: Process incoming contract requests in our CLM platform, review standard NDAs against pre-approved playbooks, and track key execution dates across corporate entities.

-

Manage Legal Systems & Data: Maintain accurate, up-to-date case and contract records across platforms like FileVine, Ironclad, JIRA, and Google Workspace to support real-time reporting and audit requests.

-

Drive Operational Efficiency: Coordinate cross-functional communications to gather legal documentation, manage invoice routing, assist with scheduling, and provide document notary services as needed.

Who You Are::

-

Educated & Credentialed: You hold a Bachelor’s degree (preferred, not required) or a Paralegal Certificate (preferred, not required) from an ABA-approved program (Notary Public commission, or ability to obtain within 90 days, is preferred).

-

Experienced Background: You bring 1–2 years of experience in an in-house legal department or law firm (paralegal certificate accepted in lieu of experience; financial services or legal tech exposure is a plus).

-

Tech-Savvy: You are comfortable working in case/contract management software (CLM platforms), workflow trackers like JIRA, and modern productivity tools like Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.

-

Meticulous & Flexible: You thrive in an environment where following instructions precisely, maintaining strict confidentiality, and paying close attention to detail are critical, and you excel in a hybrid part-time schedule (20 hours/week).
