Waymo's Strategic Sourcing and Purchasing team is a collaborative and innovative group responsible for sourcing Waymo's infrastructure needs and indirect services by providing business insight through robust RFPs and a best in class procure to pay structure. We handle all processes and supplier development strategies: from contracts, RFPs, robust analytics, negotiations, purchasing, and process optimization. We collaborate actively with Waymo's DTS (IT), Marketing, Legal, Finance, Policy, Engineering, G&A, and Product teams as well as external suppliers to make sure Waymo is receiving best in class services at best in class industry pricing.

In this remote role, you will report into our Head of Partner Audit.

You will:

Oversee the enterprise audit activities related to partner continued conformity with Waymo's partner standards

Review audits of partners to assess their adherence to agreements, legal requirements, and ethical guidelines.

Collaborate with partners to address compliance or conformance issues and implement corrective action plans.

Follow up on audit findings to ensure implementation of corrective actions and Waymo SME sign-off

Provide guidance to partners on conformance with best practices and regulatory changes.

Provide regular updates to leadership about partner remediation performance

You have:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Safety, or a related field or equivalent practical experience

5 years experience in compliance, auditing, or a related role

Strong knowledge of auditing principles, practices, and standards

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

We prefer:

Professional certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or other similar certifications

Experience in risk management and compliance program development

Experience conducting internal, vendor, and partner audits

Experience in project management

Travel requirements:

Up to 50% travel required
