ABOUT US

Legora is redefining how legal work gets done. Not built for lawyers, built with them. We work alongside the world’s best legal teams, who expect excellence, precision, and speed, and we hold ourselves to the same bar.

Our AI-native workspace lets legal professionals move faster, think more clearly, and operate with sharper precision. By analysing thousands of documents in minutes and powering end-to-end workflows, we cut through complexity, teams can focus on what matters: judgment, strategy, and outcomes.

2,100+ customers across 80+ countries trust us, including Cleary Gottlieb, Goodwin, Linklaters, White & Case, Dentons, and Barclays. We’ve scaled to $200M+ in ARR, with teams across Europe, North America and APAC, and continue to expand through acquisitions including Qura, Walter AI, Graceview, Cadastral, and Wexler.

We partner with world-class performers: including Aaron Judge and the New York Yankees, Ludvig Åberg (and his caddie), and campaigns featuring Jude Law.

Joining Legora means three things.

  • We lean in: ownership over titles, outcomes over intentions.
  • We fight for excellence: high standards, direct, ego-free feedback.
  • We grow together: as a team and with our customers.

Mission before ego. Everyone contributes. No one coasts.

If you’re driven by impact, pace, and raising the bar. This is the place.

About the role

You're the local face of People at Legora: bringing local expertise, judgement and a strong understanding of employment practices to support employees and managers through a range of people matters. You will provide local advisory support, run local casework from start to finish, fill process and policy gaps, and make sure the employee experience in your market is accurate, timely and well handled. This is a hands-on, operational role and a strong launchpad for your next step. You'll be close enough to the business to understand how each function really works, trusted to make real judgment calls on the ground, and sharp enough to know when something needs a specialist instead. Sitting within People Operations, you will act as an escalation for our People Operations Specialists, providing guidance and resolving matters that require local interpretation, judgement or a more tailored approach

You'll partner closely with Employee Relations & Compliance, who own our jurisdictional frameworks, create consistent standards, and provide specialist expertise for complex, contested or legally sensitive matters. You'll also work alongside our People Business Partners, sharing local insights and supporting the effective delivery of people initiatives and organisational changes within your local market.

What you'll own

  • Provide practical advice to employees, managers and People Operations colleagues on local employment practices, policies and people matters that require interpretation or judgement.

-

  • Running local cases from start to finish within the scope of your certification, including absence management, ongoing performance concerns and restructuring conversations, with each one properly scoped, documented and closed
  • Handling intake for leave, accommodation and absence requests, resolving what's routine and recognizing what needs to go further
  • Building out local process and policy, and ensuring people programs effectively land in your market.
  • Identify opportunities to improve local processes, employee experiences and ways of working, collaborating with other People teams to implement improvements.
  • Applying your market's jurisdiction playbook accurately and consistently, and flagging where it doesn't fit local reality
  • Recognizing the moment a matter becomes formal, contested or legally sensitive, and handing it off the same day with everything the next person needs to pick it up seamlessly
  • Keeping your certification and calibration current so your casework meets the same standard as every other market
  • Work closely with People Business Partners and Employee Relations & Compliance, sharing local trends, recurring issues and emerging risks to inform broader people decisions and improvements.

What success looks like

  • Employees and managers get fast, consistent, local support without having to wait on anyone
  • Every case you run is well documented and would stand up to close scrutiny
  • Handoffs are clean and immediate, and nothing formal or legally sensitive stays with you longer than it should
  • Patterns you spot locally, such as a recurring issue or a risk building in one team, are raised early with both Employee Relations & Compliance and the relevant People Partner, before they become bigger problems
  • You're a trusted, visible presence in your market: the person people choose to go to, not a channel they're told to use

Who you are

  • Experience in an HR, People Operations or HR generalist role, ideally with some exposure to employee relations casework
  • A good understanding of local employment practices, employee relations and HR policies, with the ability to apply these in real-world situations.
  • Able to stay neutral and steady under pressure, including with senior stakeholders
  • Sound judgment on when to act and when to escalate; you'd rather flag early than guess
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with documentation clear enough that someone else could pick it up cold
  • Motivated by where this role can lead, with a genuine interest in growing
  • Comfortable working within a defined playbook while bringing your own judgment to how it's applied

What’s In It For You

  • Global collaboration: Partner with teams and clients across Europe, APAC, and North America.
  • Competitive package: Comprehensive salary, benefits, and tools for success.
  • Meaningful work: Your efforts shape how thousands of lawyers use AI daily.

  • Benefits & Perks: We invest in our people with a comprehensive, thoughtfully designed benefits package:
