About the role

Original posting from Raylu AI via Ashby

OUR MISSION

Private markets shape which companies get built and how innovation scales - yet origination still runs on manual workflows and fragmented tools. Raylu is the AI origination engine for private markets, so every investor can see more of the market, qualify faster, and move first.

We’re not building generic AI. Raylu is purpose-built for Growth Equity and PE - already powering sourcing for leading funds with:

  • Real-time market maps aligned to your thesis
  • Standardized, enriched company signals and benchmark
  • Deep contextual research on emerging companies
  • Automated, fund-voice outreach to founders and execs

THE ROLE

We're hiring a Product Marketing Manager to turn what Raylu builds into launches, messages and sales tools that win deals with investors. You'll work closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Growth.

You'll sit where the roadmap meets the market. You'll decide how each feature is positioned, make sure every launch lands and arm our sales team to beat competitors in demanding conversations with partners and deal teams.

This is a high-ownership role: you'll own launches from early roadmap discussion to post-launch analysis, and your work will show up in every pitch, page and campaign we run.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own launches end to end. Run every feature and product launch from roadmap planning to post-launch analysis, and keep the launch calendar.
  • Build the messaging framework. Turn Raylu's capabilities into clear value propositions for each buyer (PE, growth equity, VC) and each persona, from partners to analysts.
  • Sales enablement. Create demo narratives, decks, and one-pagers that hold up in competitive, technical conversations.
  • Track the competition. Monitor AI-for-finance and deal-sourcing tools, and turn what you learn into sharper positioning and roadmap input.
  • Be the voice of the customer. Interview customers and lost deals, and bring what you hear back to product, sales and marketing.
  • Create customer proof. Produce case studies, ROI stories and customer quotes that show results like pipeline lift and more founder meetings.
  • Feed growth. Give the Growth team the messaging, landing pages and assets that power SEO, paid social and campaigns.
  • Build with AI. Use AI workflows for competitive research, content and enablement; this is how the whole team works.

YOUR FIRST 90 DAYS

  • Days 1–30: Learn the product deeply, sit in on sales calls and talk to customers. Map the competitive landscape.
  • Days 31–60: Ship a messaging framework by segment and persona, plus the first battle cards and an updated sales deck.
  • Days 61–90: Run your first major launch end to end and publish at least two customer case studies.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 5+ years in product marketing, ideally at a B2B SaaS company, with a track record of owning launches for technical products.
  • Domain knowledge in finance: you understand how PE, growth and VC funds source and evaluate deals, and the language they use.
  • A working understanding of LLMs and AI systems, enough to explain what our product does and why it's credible.
  • Proven ability to turn complex capabilities into sharp value propositions for partners, deal teams and analysts.
  • Sales enablement instincts: you have built demos and narratives that win competitive deals.
  • Experience working closely with product, engineering and sales to shape roadmap-informed messaging.
  • Clear, compelling writing, and the judgment to know what to cut.
  • High agency, organized and comfortable with ambiguity; you'll build our product marketing playbook from scratch.

BIG BONUS POINTS

  • Marketed to private equity, VC, investment banking or other financial buyers.
  • Launched an AI or data product into a competitive market.
  • Background in investing, banking or consulting before moving into marketing.
  • Experience with pricing and packaging, or win/loss analysis.
  • Comfort building demos or prototypes yourself with AI and no-code tools.

WHY JOIN RAYLU?

  • Real traction: selling into leading private-markets funds; clear, referenceable outcomes
  • Talent density: small, mission-obsessed team - big scope, zero bureaucracy
  • Speed: ship fast with direct lines to product, data, and leadership
  • A real path: this role is built to grow into AE, GTM strategy, or RevOps as Raylu scales
  • Category moment: AI is rewiring origination; Raylu is the platform built for it
