As a QA Engineer with a strong focus on Data, you will understand requirements and translate them into effective test cases, execute and automate those tests, and track testing progress and defects.

The Impact You’ll Have

  • Understand requirements and translate them into test plans and test cases, ensuring requirements traceability.
  • Execute test cases, including regression testing, and document results and testing progress.
  • Document, track, and validate the resolution of software defects in collaboration with Engineering.
  • Work with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and address testing-related questions.
  • Collaborate with engineers to investigate defects and determine the right solutions.
  • Validate data across applications, APIs, databases, and data pipelines to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
  • Establish and document testing processes, standards, and best practices.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and data quality.
  • Leverage AI tools to improve automation efficiency, data validation, and test coverage.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Data teams to ensure high-quality software and reliable data.

What We Look For

  • 4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation using Playwright and/or Cypress.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience validating data in databases.
  • Experience testing APIs and data-driven applications.
  • Understanding of data quality, consistency, and integrity.
  • Experience with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Cloud experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
