About the role

Original posting from Lexroom via Ashby

Lexroom http://Lexroom.ai is building the AI platform where legal work gets done. In just over two years, we've grown from zero to €25M ARR, and today more than 20,000 legal professionals across Italy, Spain, Germany, France, and Bulgaria rely on Lexroom http://Lexroom.ai.

We're backed by $73M from Left Lane Capital, Base10 Partners, and Eurazeo, and we're a team of around 300 builders who move fast, say things straight, and own each outcome.

Our next goal? Become Europe's most-used legal product.

WHY LEXROOM http://Lexroom.ai?

  • Shape the Standard: Be part of the team setting the benchmark for legal AI in Europe.
  • Work with the Best: Collaborate with exceptional colleagues in a culture that values competence, curiosity, and ambition.
  • Deliver Meaningful Results: Your work will directly influence how legal professionals operate—faster, clearer, and more efficiently.

At Lexroom http://Lexroom.ai, we leave buzzwords behind. Here, you’ll build something that lasts: a trusted platform, a strong reputation, a new standard for the legal world.

THE ROLE

As a Renewals Specialist, you will drive customer retention and ensure high operational efficiency across our legal accounts. You will manage the entire renewal process, proactively prevent churn through usage data analysis, and partner closely with Customer Success Managers to maintain CRM hygiene and safeguard our recurring revenue.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the renewal process end to end for an assigned portfolio: track upcoming renewal dates, prepare and send renewal paperwork, and keep pricing and terms accurate in HubSpot.
  • Monitor customer engagement/usage scores across the book on a regular cadence, flag at-risk accounts early, and run proactive outreach to re-engage customers before churn becomes likely.
  • Support CSMs on their own portfolios: prepare renewal packages, chase signatures, keep CRM data clean, and take on administrative or lower-touch account tasks so CSMs can focus on strategic relationships and expansion.
  • Spot usage drop-offs or dissatisfaction signals and either resolve them directly (quick troubleshooting, product education) or escalate to the right CSM/Team Manager with full context.
  • Track and report on renewal KPIs (renewal rate, on-time renewal rate, save rate on at-risk accounts) and help refine the churn-prevention playbook.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • 0-1 years of experience in a sales, account management, or customer-facing commercial role (internships count - we care more about aptitude and drive than tenure).
  • Comfortable working with data: you’re happy inside a CRM, reading engagement/usage scores, and using them to prioritize your day.
  • Organized and detail-oriented: you can manage a portfolio of renewal deadlines without letting anything slip.
  • Proactive and resilient: you reach out before a customer has to complain.
  • You speak both Italian and English.
  • Optional but a bonus: familiarity with HubSpot or a similar CRM; interest in the legal industry (no legal background required).

GROWTH PATH

This role is designed as an entry point into Customer Success at Lexroom, not a dead end. Based on your results against renewal and churn-prevention targets, you’ll have the opportunity to move into a full Customer Success Manager role within approximately 6 months - taking ownership of a dedicated portfolio across the full customer lifecycle (onboarding, adoption, renewal, and expansion).

WHAT SETS US APART

An Exceptional Team

At Lexroom http://Lexroom.ai, you’ll work alongside top talent in tech and legal AI.

Our focused teams operate with purpose and autonomy, so every contribution delivers visible results.

You’ll collaborate with people who pair innovation with rigor, curiosity with discipline, ambition with depth.

Growth that Matters

We hire exceptional people to make a difference—and we give them space to lead.

Your work will shape the future of legal technology and set new standards for the field.

Impact is defined by vision and execution, not by age or title. If you’re ready to take responsibility, you’ll find real opportunities to grow and lead high-stakes projects.

REWARDING YOUR CONTRIBUTION

We value excellence and share success:

  • Annual Salary Range: €28,000 RAL + €10,000 Bonus
  • Equity Package: Align your growth with the company’s long-term success.

BENEFITS THAT MATTER

  • Hybrid Work: Flexibility to balance remote work with in-person collaboration at our Milan HQ
  • Health Insurance: Comprehensive coverage to ensure peace of mind.
  • Meal Vouchers: Daily support to make your lunch breaks easier.
  • Performance Bonuses: Rewards tied directly to measurable results.
  • Team Retreats & Off-sites: Dedicated time to connect, collaborate, and spark bold ideas.
