ABOUT THE ROLE

You will join a dedicated R&D initiative at Harmattan AI focused on developing a wireless link module for drone-to-base station communications. As an RF Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and integrating PCBs and electrical systems in a compact, rugged form factor - ensuring reliability, low latency, and field readiness.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform the schematic design of PCBs, including component placement and routing
  • Oversee the physical integration of PCBs into the product, in collaboration with mechanical engineers
  • Address and resolve electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) issues as they arise
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of PCBs upon reception
  • Work closely with other R&D teams to ensure seamless coordination

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Educational Background: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Strong PCB design and layout experience (Altium or equivalent)
  • Experience: 2–5 years in the development of electronic boards, including testing and validation
  • Experience with RF systems and their implications on PCB design
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to work autonomously and solve complex technical challenges
  • Communication & Influence: Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of leading diverse principals – from junior members to senior executives
