About the role

🎯 THE ROLE

We're French, post-Series B scale-up, and now building the UK from the ground up β€” first councils signed, first go-lives delivered. We are already working with +200 local authorities in France, Belgium & Switzerland and are now expanding in the UK.

As Security Project Manager, you'll take the lead in delivering, supporting and supervising client projects, and reporting to Manuella (Head of Operations).

This is a great fit if you enjoy working hands-on with hardware in the field, coordinating partners to get things installed right, and want to be part of a team that values ownership, collaboration and getting things done.

πŸš€ WHAT YOU'LL DO

PMO delivery

  • Lead the end-to-end rollout of our installations across council sites, ensuring smooth delivery from kick-off to handover.
  • Oversee the configuration and commissioning of camera units to meet each council's requirements.

Partner management

  • Train and certify partners on the installation and maintenance of our solutions, ensuring compliance with our quality and uptime standards.
  • Act as the interface between installation partners and HQ, coordinating schedules, priorities and escalations.

Client technical support

  • Serve as the named technical point of contact for councils, triaging and resolving issues within defined SLAs.
  • Challenge orientation choice and ensure that the partner meets Vizzia’s standards regarding execution and delivery-time.
  • Conduct site surveys to validate camera types and installation locations, and produce execution packs for installers (HQ and local partners).
  • Coordinate spares and replacements with HQ to minimise downtime.

With HQ

  • Produce regular reports and progress updates for management.
  • Manage stock levels and maintain accurate records to keep projects on track.
  • Build strong working relationships with HQ, external partners and council clients.

In the field

  • Mobility: This role covers deployments across the UK, regular regional travel is an integral part of the job.

βœ… WHO YOU ARE

  • At least 5 years experience working with technical delivery or field operations of camera and CCTV systems, ideally in council, public-sector, or similarly complex environments.
  • Electricity β€” understanding of electrical systems, outdoor installations, and pole/camera fixings would be a bonus.
  • Track record of deploying and commissioning hardware or camera systems.
  • Confident managing multiple projects at once and keeping everyone informed.
  • Great communication skills β€” comfortable breaking down and explaining technical issues.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Full working proficiency English skills
  • UK driving licence is required to get between sites.

⭐ STRONG BONUS POINTS

  • Having sourced and audited partners, and negotiated contracts.
  • Familiarity with EV charging infrastructure.
  • Experience with UK local authorities / the public sector / B2G.

πŸš€ GROWTH PERSPECTIVES

This is a builder role! You'll be the first Security Project Manager in the UK. As you build traction and autonomy, the scope is yours to expand. More ownership over UK operations, a bigger say in partner strategy, and potentially building out your own team as we scale.
