About the role

Original posting from Sprout Social

Sprout Social is looking to hire a Senior Account Based Experience (ABX) Marketing Strategist (EMEA) to the Marketing team, based in Ireland.

Why join Sprout's Marketing team?

At Sprout Social, we don't just market products—we set the pace for how breakthrough brands connect with the world. As the social intelligence platform powering the future of customer connection, our Marketing team is the driving force behind turning that vision into reality. We lead with clarity and act with speed to drive market leadership, generate demand, and accelerate customer expansion, all in close partnership with core cross-functional stakeholders.

Here, you'll have the freedom to test bold ideas, learn fast, and shape the future of the global brands we empower. We measure success by the business results we create and a shared commitment to excellence in our craft. If you're ready to own your impact, accelerate your career, and build the definitive system for business, this is where you belong.

What you'll do

End-to-End Campaign Ownership: Own the end-to-end execution of ABX field marketing programs across priority EMEA accounts—translating regional strategy into account-specific experiences while managing timelines, budgets, vendors, logistics, and internal stakeholders to ensure flawless delivery.

Consultative GTM & Campaign Mix: Execute targeted 1:1, 1:few, and 1:many ABX programs utilizing a full tactical mix (executive dinners, roundtables, virtual/in-person webinars, strategic gifting, direct mail, and outbound plays) to create pipeline and accelerate deals.

Sales & Field Alignment: Act as the connective tissue between Marketing, Sales, and BDR teams—serving as the go-to marketer to open doors, align on account outreach sequencing, support deal acceleration, and build moments buying committees remember.

AI & Operational Efficiency: Experiment with and implement AI tools (such as Claude) and automated workflows to optimize campaign efficiency, deepen personalization, and elevate team productivity.

Performance & Insights: Track, measure, and report on key account engagement, pipeline creation, and deal acceleration metrics—continuously testing, optimizing, and applying insights to evolve Sprout's regional ABX approach.

What you'll bring

You are a true partner to Sales and Marketing who combines a strategic lens with hands-on execution, balancing big-picture thinking with an eye for detail. You thrive in ambiguity, take full ownership of concurrent programs, and bring a collaborative, service-oriented approach to driving pipeline across a diverse, multi-market region.

The minimum qualifications for this role include:

5+ years of experience in ABM/ABX, field marketing, demand generation, campaign, or integrated marketing

Proven experience executing end-to-end account-based programs, in-person field events, webinars, and coordinated outbound plays alongside sales teams

Strong project management and data tool fluency (e.g., SFDC, Tableau, or equivalent) with the ability to manage complex initiatives and translate metrics into actionable insights

Preferred qualifications for this role include:

Direct experience marketing to diverse EMEA audiences and supporting Enterprise/Strategic multi-threaded sales cycles

Hands-on experience with ABM platforms (e.g., 6sense), AI/automation tools (e.g., Claude), and CRM/marketing software (e.g., Asana, Salesforce)

Persuasive storytelling, presentation, and cross-functional communication skills with a track record of bringing sales leadership and peers along

Ability to work from our Dublin office at least one day per week

How you'll grow

Within 1 month, you'll plant your roots, including:

Complete Sprout Social's new hire training & onboarding program alongside other new Sprout team members. You'll gain a broader understanding of our products and how your role fits into the organization.

Make a plan with your manager to set initial priorities, align on expectations for your role, plant goalposts for your career, and learn Sprout's approach to ABX strategy, EMEA priorities, target accounts, and sales motions.

Establish relationships with key Sales, BDR, and Marketing partners globally and in region, while getting hands-on with our ABX tools, dashboards, and reporting metrics.

Within 3 months, you'll start hitting your stride by:

Build connections with members from other teams through active networking and community building.

Independently own and execute 1:1, 1:few, and 1:many ABX programs for assigned accounts, including delivering your first field/executive event or webinar in region.

Partner confidently with Sales and BDRs on account research, messaging, outreach timing, and performance tracking.

Within 6 months, you'll be making a clear impact through:

Have your first performance conversation with your manager, where you'll discuss your accomplishments in your role and work together to build goals for your professional growth.

Act as a trusted ABX partner to EMEA sales teams, running concurrent multi-market motions (events, webinars, gifting, outbound plays) that drive pipeline creation and deal acceleration.

Apply performance insights to refine targeting tactics and bring forward strategic recommendations on how we invest in ABX across EMEA.

Within 12 months, you'll make this role your own by:

Serve as the subject-matter expert on EMEA ABX best practices, building a repeatable regional playbook and contributing to global strategy.

Surprise us! Use your unique ideas and abilities to change your team in beneficial ways that we haven't even considered yet.

Of course what is outlined above is the ideal timeline, but things may shift based on business needs and other projects and tasks could be added at the discretion of your manager.
