Our mission is simple: to motivate people to live their best active lives. We believe in the power of movement to connect and drive people forward.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

Strava's Brand & Social team sets and drives the brand marketing strategy behind Strava's growth, from campaign strategy and creative production to social and partnerships. We've built our approach around a simple thesis: consistency compounds, and disciplined investment in brand awareness pays off in measurable acquisition efficiency. Heading into 2027, that means a flagship brand platform launch and a portfolio of high-stakes go-to-market moments that need dedicated, senior ownership.

As Senior Brand Marketing Manager, you'll own our flagship brand campaigns end-to-end, from brief through execution and measurement, spanning paid media, organic social, influencer marketing, and partnerships. You'll partner closely with Product Marketing, who lead our go-to-market launches, to keep brand work and launch timing moving in lockstep, and with Athlete & Community Partnerships (ACP) to bring brand strategy into athlete, creator, and community programs and amplify what they source. Rather than managing social channels day to day, you'll brief and direct our external social and creative partners. You'll also help carry our brand platform build forward as it moves toward launch, and take ownership of major campaigns currently sitting with our Director of Brand & Social, freeing up capacity for higher-level strategy.

We follow a flexible hybrid model that translates to more than half of your time on-site in our New York City office, three days per week.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own our flagship brand campaigns end-to-end, from brief through execution and measurement, in close partnership with Product Marketing, who lead go-to-market launches
  • Write and drive campaign briefs that translate brand strategy into integrated, multi-channel executions across paid media, organic social, influencer marketing, and partnerships
  • Partner with Athlete & Community Partnerships (ACP) to bring brand strategy into athlete, creator, and community programs, and amplify ACP-sourced content across paid and organic channels
  • Brief and direct external social and creative partners on organic execution, rather than managing channels directly
  • Contribute to our brand platform build as it moves toward launch
  • Bring data and analytical rigor to campaign planning and post-mortems, using performance and brand health data to inform investment decisions
  • Take ownership of select flagship campaigns currently held by the Director of Brand & Social, freeing up capacity for platform and portfolio-level strategy
  • Report on campaign performance and brand impact to marketing leadership

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TEAM

  • Substantial experience in brand or integrated marketing, with ownership of campaign strategy from brief through execution at a flagship or portfolio level
  • Comfort partnering closely with product marketing and other cross-functional teams on go-to-market timing, without owning launch mechanics yourself
  • Working knowledge of both paid media planning and organic growth tactics, including social, influencer marketing, and partnership marketing
  • Strong analytical instincts; you're comfortable working with performance and brand health data to make and defend investment decisions
  • A creative eye and comfort directing external agency, creator, and production partners
  • Excellent written communication; you can write a brief that gives creative, media, and partnership teams real direction
  • Experience partnering with community, partnerships, or athlete/creator relations functions is a strong plus
