About the role

Original posting from Kettle via Greenhouse

Kettle designs digital products with soul, for some of the most ambitious consumer brands in the world. Our work lives at the intersection of product thinking and brand storytelling; products that are just as considered in feeling as they are in function.

We are looking for a Senior Creative Technologist to join our team, someone who builds the tools, workflows, and accelerators that help Kettle do its best work. In this role, you'll sit at the intersection of emerging AI capabilities and our creative and product practices, rapidly turning what's newly possible into things our teams can use. This is a role for someone who is deeply technical and deeply curious; you’re equally comfortable in the code and in a creative conversation, and you know when to move fast, and when to bring in technical rigor.

Candidates should have:

Hands-on experience in creative technology, applied AI development, or a related technical discipline, with a track record of shipping things that work in real environments, not just a sandbox

A portfolio that demonstrates technical depth and creative range: client work, functional tools, interactive experiences, AI-powered demos, or workflow systems built with intention

Fluency across the generative AI landscape. You follow new model launches and capability releases closely, and you have recent examples of work that responds to what's emerging

Strong command of modern front-end development, headless CMSs, AI APIs and tooling

You understand what it means to build something secure, performant, and structurally sound, and you know when to bring in software build principles to experiments

The self-direction to pick up problems independently and drive them to completion

Collaborate across disciplines, including Design, Product Management, Copy, Strategy, and Production. You enjoy helping others bring their best ideas to life

Nice to have:

Experience building AI-powered pipelines or workflow accelerators in an agency or product environment

Familiarity with agentic systems and AI-native development environments

Experience with Python, Node, and Swift

We'd like to know that you can:

Move quickly from "what could we do with this?" to something working and worth sharing, without waiting for a fully defined brief

Translate experiments into clear, reusable outputs (working code, demos, documentation, shared patterns) that make new capabilities accessible across disciplines and stick beyond a single project

Show up credibly in a room: present your work and represent technical thinking to internal stakeholders and in client conversations

Adapt across contexts, from rapid prototyping and experimentation, to more structured build and delivery

The target range of base compensation for this role is $140k - 160k. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
