ABOUT THE ROLE

Join an early analytics team at an AI advertising technology company and own its data foundation, from the warehouse and production pipelines to BI and conversion tracking. Your work will shape business decisions and help power ad platform bidding.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own the ClickHouse warehouse schema, ingestion, backfills, and performance, and decide how data is structured.
  • Build and operate production pipelines in Python from systems such as Postgres, Stripe, Slack, and advertising platforms, with testing, monitoring, recovery, and data verification.
  • Manage conversion tracking and attribution data, including server-side events and the feeds sent to advertising platforms.
  • Build and maintain dashboards for growth, finance, support, and product, and retire dashboards that are no longer useful.
  • Analyze retention cohorts, unit economics, channel attribution, churn, and pricing impact, and proactively surface meaningful changes.
  • Set up alerts for metric movements and work directly with company leaders to scope and prioritize data work.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience building and maintaining production data pipelines in Python.
  • Hands-on experience with a columnar warehouse such as ClickHouse, Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
  • Experience building BI dashboards with Hex, Metabase, or Looker and defining business metrics such as retention cohorts and unit economics.
  • Familiarity with Stripe and SaaS metrics such as MRR, ARR, NDR, and LTV, plus conversion tracking through tools such as Meta Conversions API or Google Ads conversion imports.
  • Daily use of coding agents in your engineering workflow, with ownership of correctness and production behavior.
  • A proactive, product-minded approach and experience taking ownership in a small, fast-moving team.
