Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Networking QA Engineer with strong expertise in Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, multicast protocols, and advanced IP services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across multiple vendor switches and demonstrate proficiency in designing and implementing complex network topologies for diverse customer use cases.

Key Responsibilities:

Network Design & Implementation

o Design and configure network topologies based on customer requirements and use cases.

o Ensure optimal performance and reliability across wired and wireless infrastructures.

Layer 2 Switching:

o Configure and troubleshoot VLANs, LACP, STP, RSTP, PVST, MSTP.

o Implement MLAG, vPC, and IGMP Snooping for redundancy and multicast optimization.

Layer 3 & Multicast Protocols:

o Configure and maintain VRRP, OSPF, BGP for routing.

o Implement multicast protocols such as IGMP and PIM-SM for efficient traffic distribution.

· IP Services

o Manage DNS, NTP, DHCP services.

o Configure AAA frameworks including TACACS+ and RADIUS for secure authentication

· Management s Monitoring

o Utilize SNMP for network monitoring and management.

o Work with CLI, SNMP, and UI across multiple vendor platforms.

· Advanced Protocols

o Understand and configure PTP and AVB protocols (gPTP, MVRP, MSRP) for time-sensitive networking.

· Documentations Customer Interaction

o Prepare detailed network diagrams and documentation.

o Engage with customers to understand topology and use cases, providing tailored solutions.

Required Skills Qualifications

· 10+ years of relevant experience

. Strong hands-on experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols

· Proficiency in multicast protocols and IP services.

· Experience with multiple vendor switches (Cisco, Netgear, Juniper, etc.).

· Skilled in CLI, SNMP, and UI-based configuration.

· Good understanding of PTP and AVB protocols.

· Ability to design and implement complex network topologies.

· Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

· Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent.

· Experience in AV over IP environments. Familiarity with network automation tools
